- Comment on The fastest bicycle in history is the stationary bike on the ISS. 1 week ago:
This is one of those gotcha moments, but it’s intentionally misleading. Any bicycle can “become” the fastest bicycle in history under these conditions. However there isn’t a single bicycle, motorized or not that can reach that speed on its own. Not without becoming something else altogether. I honestly feel like I wasted my one minute of typing this. Congratulations.

- Comment on Why did/do sites such as the pyramids in Egypt or the Roman colosseum end up in an abandoned state, only to be "rediscovered" later? 4 weeks ago:
The pyramids of Giza were glorified tombs. The emperor’s didn’t want people inside and I assume wouldn’t want them nearby. The colosseums were maintained by the roman government. And from what I heard the colosseums were reused for various purposes, just not much historical significance. Didn’t Mussolini use the colosseums?

- Comment on It begins: Pentagon to give AI agents a role in decision making, ops planning. 1 month ago:
I see a potential for instant feedback on logistics and detecting vulnerabilities that might go undetected. By comparison, an ai agent can have unlimited capacity for handling data. The ai isn’t grounded in reality enough to call the shots.

TKDR Skip the first 6 paragraphs if you want to avoid a potential echo chamber, otherwise read and feel whatever you feel.
The article mainly focuses on FOSS. It is very detailed going into browsers, then cloud services, etc. This article doesn’t go into hardware.
On a related note I highly recommend studying this HUGE all inclusive page on building your own. More power to you. wiki.futo.org/…/Introduction_to_a_Self_Managed_Li…
