Photopea. Why bother with paint or a download when it’s all in a browser and Photoshop lol
- Comment on Nintendo ‘warned to expect 145% tariff on Nintendo Switch 2’ 1 week ago:
Tangential but was at the hospital for an Endo appointment with my son and chuckled in our waiting room “I bet there’s an old white guy in a suit right now going ‘but what if we made these waiting rooms smaller?’”
Note. Room was already small.
- Comment on Uncle Sam abruptly turns off funding for CVE program. Yes, that CVE program 1 week ago:
My sense is orgs are correcting now from the over-hiring they did a few years ago. Our InfoSec department blew up over the last 5 years as did many corporations but the problem is in the boom you had, for lack of a better way to put it, a lot of morons snuck in under the auspices of “I took a course I’m a security engineer!”
Now corporations are moving on to risk mitigation which is a completely different skillset.
- Comment on YSK that if you lose your Social Security Card (USA) more than 10 times, the Social Security Administration will have to, by law, refuse to issue anymore replacement cards, for the rest of your life. 4 weeks ago:

This isn’t an America problem. People do this in every country

This is capitalism not corruption
For everyone here’s a fun thought experience. You have a room with 100 people. In that room is 100$. 1 person (Elon Musk let’s say) holds 95$. 4 people (let’s say various CEO class people) hold $1 each. The remaining 95 people share the remaining 1$.
And yet here we are all fighting because some of our deluded asses think we are going to be one of those 5 people one day.

Oh the same bullshit is done here with Loblaws. I don’t care. They have my info every time I use my credit card at their store that’s all they need and it’s all they get.
If I have to pay more because they’re greedy little fuckpigs so be it.

My GF laughs because I have no loyalty cards or apps and I laugh that she has one for everything.
Loyalty rewards are bullshit.
- Comment on How does this pic show that Elon Musk doesnt know SQL? 2 months ago:
I work for a crown corp in Canada we have, off the top of my head, about 800 MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL/MariaDB, Postgres databases across the org (I manage our CMDB). Musk is a retard. The world runs on SQL.
He wouldn’t know this though because he’s a techbro that builds apps with MongoDB b cause he doesn’t understand what normalizing data is and why SQL is the best option for 99.9999999% of applications.
Fucking idiots.

Same for me with the Samsung Note. It’s just a great size but can’t bring myself to use it and screw apple and their technology design for idiots.

History doesn’t repeat. It rhymes.
Buckle in kiddo it’s gonna be a fun couple of decades if we survive it.
- Comment on Apple CEO Tim Cook Donating $1 Million to Trump's Inaugural Fund 3 months ago:
What’s funny (or sad) is that 100 years from now this will be looked at the same was as when Ford or IBM supported the Nazis. Their business won’t hurt long term and Tim Apple will be long dead.

See my other comment. Coles notes is until we solve the problem with unwanted children being born I will be pro-abortion.

Definitely not see my other post.
- Comment on How come people who are against abortion are in favor of the death penalty? Kind of seems like a contradicition/ 5 months ago:
Nope. I actually think life is sacred. The reason I’m pro-abortion is because I think anything that can be done to further impede children being born when we have hundreds of thousands of children in America alone who are orphans. That is a travesty.
My challenge to anyone who is anti-abortion would be are they adopting? Because their shit position is perpetuating a stream of children being born without someone to care for them either physically or emotionally.
In a perfect world, abortion would not exist outside of medical necessity. Unfortunately we do not live in a perfect world and as such many women are having children to be born into a cold and loveless world.
It’s sad. I could not imagine how cruel someone would have to be to be anti-abortion and yet so willing to effectively let a child’s life be aborted once they’re born.

- Comment on Amazon tech workers leaving for other jobs in response to return to office mandate 6 months ago:
If it’s anything like my work and their RTO a few things.
- hR is well aware of attrition rates and I bet they’re through the roof
- Any new hires are probably not the best or brightest they could expect to hire
So expect quality at Amazon to decline. It may not be outwardly visible but mark my words for those that are still there it will devolve into a chaotic shit show of overworked employees that are left backfilling work for those who left and the incompetence that came in.
