That actually sounds like a good idea. Like Lemmy you have communities of common or popular languages like java or python which you can join and everyone there assists with questions. As it grows you might see a node for spring or flask get created for more niche discussions.

God doesn’t play dice but he sure does repeat the same tune. I believe this same pattern is observable in our brains when neurons fire is it not?
There’s probably some math which explains the consistency of the pattern.

I would argue “open source”. I’ve paid attention to hashicorp for a while. They were always about “getting that bag”. Open source was a means to their ends.
Something was fucky with them since day 1 and the fact many companies were openly using alpha software on production environments (my work included). Always rubbed me the wrong way.
For good open source look at apps like Zabbix.

Speak for yourself. Were I in their shoes no I would not. But then again my company wouldn’t be as big as theirs for that reason.

Coffeezilla had a video in his void where he plays this back a few times. It’s hilarious seeing the guilt without stating it.

So my work uses ChatGPT as well as all the other flavours. It’s getting really hard to stay quiet on all the moral quandaries being raised on how these companies are training their AI data.
I understand we all feel like we are on a speeding train that can’t be stopped or even slowed down but this shit ain’t right. We need to really start forcing businesses to have moral compass.

I rarely downvote. If I disagree with someone that means no up vote most times. Downvote should be limited to spam, harmful or completely irrelevant.
I’ve been downvoted to oblivion before just because I don’t agree with the hive mind. That to me is scary and people should be concerned that’s even a thing.

All I heard overpandemic was that COVID was triggering diabetes in people which makes sense because we don’t know what triggers diabetes but one of the theories is it’s caused by viral stress.
I bet any money they will one day find a genetic mutation like the one in BRCA2 that causes cancer.

Anything to avoid doing your own research eh? Will happily “fact check” my shit but God forbid you do your own work? I may be a condescending ass but at least my head isn’t up one.
It’s clear I won’t find anything outside of Elon telling you they’re crap for you to believe but by all means Consumer Reports and JD Power having them run of the mill or worse surely can’t be legit.
Oh wait. Elon has stated before their quality issues are shit. Of course you’ll dismiss it because “hurr durr it was years ago”

Best of luck and enjoy your Tesla!

Every brand isn’t evangelized in the same way the cult of Elon pushed their golden goose. They’re run of the mill or worse than industry averages.

Couple this with the ridiculous price point on the vehicles and you have apple cars so to that point I can understand the delusional obsession with the brand and supporting it

- Comment on Tesla Has The Highest Accident Rate Of Any Auto Brand 4 months ago:
Personal experience is not scientific or journalistic fact. As for providing evidence Google it. There’s lots of reputable sites that will tell you their build quality is inconsistent AF as well as they intentionally bully owners to accept shit.
- Comment on Tesla Has The Highest Accident Rate Of Any Auto Brand 4 months ago:
Ah yes a personal anecdote is 100% more valid.
That said, from what I’ve heard the big problem is the disparity of build quality. Some Tesla’s (like possibly yours) are built amazing. Some others are put together like shit.

Epoch is your friend, or use UTC. At least that’s my layman reasoning. I have no challenges working with DateTime except when I don’t know the underlying conditions applied from the source code.
