I would argue, that the reason why the cat choose this spot is partially because it is the deepest spot, eliminating the uncomfortable slope it would have if it sat 1 meter to the right. Thus there is a causation, the roof shape causes the cat to sit at this spot.

The causation could also be that the cat jumped from below and therefore the lowest point is the easiest to reach
m532@lemmygrad.ml 2 weeks ago
Or the cat is liquid and fluided towards at the lowest point

I like the caption for this of “How to spot the poly morphed dragon”
Thordros@hexbear.net 2 weeks ago
I’m pretty sure that roof is corrugated, not correlated.

It’s a Neutron Cat.

He might not have caused it, but he sure is claiming to have.
Deconceptualist@leminal.space 2 weeks ago
There was previously a boulder in that spot, but the cat pushed it off the ledge.
booty@hexbear.net 2 weeks ago
False, that fatass fuckin cat definitely caused that dent
cobysev@lemmy.world 2 weeks ago
That’s definitely a dragon in disguise. Looks like a cat to mortal eyes, but weights a helluva lot more.
SpaceNoodle@lemmy.world 2 weeks ago
Bullshit, cats can increase their mass at will
Gormadt@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 weeks ago
I agree, my source? Every time I try to lift a cat off of my lap or off of a surface they’re not supposed to be on.

Can I have a few more pixels with that?

Dense Cat will destroy us all!
Asafum@feddit.nl 2 weeks ago
This is perfect because at first glance you’d think wow that’s a heavy cat, it broke the roof!
In reality though it’s a normal weight cat that has been traveling through space at 40,000mph and rocketed through the atmosphere crashing into the roof.
danc4498@lemmy.world 2 weeks ago
That would be catastrophic.
SchmidtGenetics@lemmy.world 2 weeks ago
I have a feline we would be fine.

cat ass trophy?
MajorMajormajormajor@lemmy.ca 2 weeks ago
That would be impawsible to survive for anything but a cat.
Asafum@feddit.nl 2 weeks ago
Cats already like heat, but on entering the atmosphere they convert to their liquid form and their heat capacity increases greatly! Since they’re now liquid the impact doesn’t affect them as much either! Cats really are amazing.

And a cat could only survive it 8 times.
