slaneesh_is_right@lemmy.org 1 day ago
Just flip the 48 upside down and no one will even notice.

And if that doesn’t work, try it again while violently jiggling the steering back and forth.

Then give it a nudge with your foot.

Moments later the crew of the 8h was very confused when they got fired.

That’s what all earth movers do when they die.

My uncle used to fix trucks like that. Wonder what he think of this pic.

Rhetoric matters. Joking about that is halfway to accepting it.
Catoblepas@piefed.blahaj.zone 1 day ago
For a mistake that big, someone’s boss gets fired. If you were even able to fuck it up that bad there have already been so many fuck ups.
jaybone@lemmy.zip 1 day ago
Exactly. And what are they going to hire a new crew tomorrow to flip that shit back over again and keep doing business as usual? Lol no.
DarkAri@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 day ago
Flipping it back over will be extreamly difficult, probably will require several excavators. Then they will have to inspect the engine, to see if its damaged. If it needs parts, it could cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to repair. The truck may need parts or welding as well. They will likely fire the driver who flipped it and replace him with someone. You can learn fairly quick.

Could be the person’s first day.

If you’re a supervisor and you send someone out on site with the ability to fuck up this badly, it’s your fault.
People need training, supervision and evaluation before you turn them loose on the real stuff.
