  I know this is a shitpost, but I need to say it anyways: The USA is not “America”. America is everything west of Europe and east of Asia. All the Americas: north, central, and south.

    The name may be really stupid, but America is the name used to reference the United States and is recognized by hundreds of millions if not billions of people. North America: continent. South America: continent. The Americas: 2 continents. America: 1 country. Just because it’s dumb doesn’t make it not true.

    Well… Ackchuyually, it’s not “China”, it’s “People’s Republic of China”

    “China” can refer to various terriorial claims made by various Chiness dynasties/governments throught history, and doesn’t precisely describe the location or period of time. Whereas “People’s Republic of China” is the accurate term to describe the current geo-political situation of the country.
