I recommend giving graffiti kingdom a try. It’s a 3d platform er where you draw your own character.
- Comment on Day 438 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I've been playing 1 day ago:
I’ve been playing 7 remake a bit and I know a lot of additions were meant to flesh out the world in what’s actually a really small chunk of the original game. But I found a lot of the additions, though not all, to feel more like unnecessary padding than good fleshing out.

I buy CDs a lot. I love CDs. I love ripping them.
- Comment on What's the most offensive word I can use that isn't a slur? 5 days ago:
I’m a novice when it comes to the language as a heads up. But my understanding is that generally most of these incredibly vulgar ways of saying “you” came about because they were originally actually respectful ways of referring to someone. But as time passed, people began using them ironically. So a term that was originally respectfully used to refer to someone of higher status is now only used if you’re basically cursing someone out.
Japanese doesn’t really have swear words, it’s mostly just words that are incredibly disrespectful or otherwise inappropriate for certain context.
There’s also 貴様 (kisama) which is basically so comically rude because, to my understanding, saying it implies everyone is inferior to you by default.

An incredibly vulgar way of saying “you” in Japanese.
- Comment on Relooted - Game made by South Africans has been bombarded by right-wingers 1 week ago:
The intense racism on steam is seriously fucked up. And it’s ever-present.
The game does look fun though. It kinda reminds me of that old 2D Mirror’s Edge game for old iPhones but a lot better.
- Comment on Asus ROG Xbox Ally Gaming Handhelds Cost Up to $999.99, Preorders Open Now 1 week ago:
Way not worth it for me. Justifiable price for it’s performance? Maybe. That doesn’t actually matter to me. I bought a steam deck years ago. I bought a switch 2. Power is not my big concern with these systems. I have a proper PC for that. I want a reasonable portable system that can play the kinds of games I’d like to play while waiting somewhere. While laying in bed. While sitting outside because it’s a nice day. I don’t need insane hardware for that. The games that need that I’d play on my computer.
At the same time a Microsoft product these days screams garbage anyway.
- Comment on Both Sega and PocketPair are taking jabs at Nintendo and I'm loving it 1 week ago:
I mean I have no actual respect for any of these companies. Their goal is money before anything else. Them “taking shots” at one another is meaningless to me.
- Comment on Nintendo’s Switch Mario Galaxy collection will retail for $70 3 weeks ago:
Why couldn’t you believe that? So many other games announce whole season passes before launch. This is super common.

- Comment on Borderlands 4 Launches To Mostly Negative Steam Reviews Over Performance Issues And Crashing 3 weeks ago:
Story matters in a lot of games to me. But not in borderlands. I play borderlands for the looting and shooting basically. And 3’s the best at that. Though I’ve heard 4 is even better still in that regard.
- Comment on Borderlands 4 Launches To Mostly Negative Steam Reviews Over Performance Issues And Crashing 3 weeks ago:
3 was the best out of all of them from a gameplay perspective. People don’t like the story but I never cared for any of the borderlands stories personally.
- Comment on Sexualized video games are not causing harm to male or female players, according to new research 3 weeks ago:
The issue is the many people who complain when a game or other media have women that look like actual women. Calling them men because they don’t look like the perfectly sexualized women in media that they’re used to.
Yes they can’t tell the difference, but they’re still doing real harm.

I mean yeah I guess that is one.
- Comment on Massive Gaming Crossover: Among Us Teams Up with Popular RPG 3 weeks ago:
We can hate them as much as we want, but it doesn’t change the fact the hoyoverse games are massive in terms of popularity and incredibly successful. By all accounts, yeah it’s a massive crossover.
- Comment on Hollow Knight: Silksong Sparks Debate About Difficulty and Boss Runbacks 4 weeks ago:
Well whether you like it or not, you’re just insulting people for criticizing a game. Not even for it’s difficulty, so you couldn’t be more off base.
Legitimately this mindset is why most gaming forums are so toxic. It makes it difficult to actually discuss problems with and opinions on games without people basically going “git gud.”
There is room to bring up the fact that some games are just not for everyone, but that also doesn’t invalidate the criticism they have.
- Comment on Hollow Knight: Silksong Sparks Debate About Difficulty and Boss Runbacks 4 weeks ago:
I haven’t played silksong, but most games like Dark Souls and the like, getting back to the boss without taking damage is pretty easy. It’s not difficulty, it’s just time.
- Comment on Hollow Knight: Silksong Sparks Debate About Difficulty and Boss Runbacks 4 weeks ago:
I’m not really used to metroidvanias having runbacks honestly. Most I’ve played either have save points close to the bosses or just drop you outside the boss room if you die.

Why people resort to insulting anyone who criticizes things they like
- Comment on To Catch a Predator's Chris Hansen Planning Roblox Documentary, It's Claimed 1 month ago:
Historically the kind of awareness it brings is less constructive information on the problems with these websites, and more on the line of unhelpful paranoia.
- Comment on To Catch a Predator's Chris Hansen Planning Roblox Documentary, It's Claimed 1 month ago:
Hansen is generally more of a grifter these days to be fair. And even back in the heyday of the show, it had a lot of issues both legal and just moral. I really feel weird about this kind of predator catching stuff being made as entertainment.

The bitcoin boom turned any crypto currency into just a volatile means of investment. None of them are seen as currencies to buy things anymore, and I don’t think that’s changing.
Not to mention the many other issues with crypto currency as a concept. But those don’t really matter in the face of, well, not being viewed as a currency anymore.

- Comment on Missouri AG: Any AI That Doesn’t Praise Donald Trump Might Be “Consumer Fraud” (No, Really) 2 months ago:
It’s vague still as a native speaker, I imagine most people’s first instinct would be that “best” would be least antisemitic and “worst” would be most. The meaning in wording like this comes from whether or not what you are ranking people on is good or bad. To most people, antisemitism is bad. (or at least I’d hope) So “best” would mean “least”.
A better way of phrasing the question would just be to ask to rank them most to least antisemitic. That would be much less vague.
