I had a roomie that played lol. After a month of not having a job and looking very scruffy he emerged from his filthy bedroom and gave me a grocery list. We were on good terms until I told him he had an addiction.
- Comment on Luv Me Chips, 'ate Seagulls... 1 week ago:
I grew up with seagulls (well, lake gulls) and they weren’t a bother. Then I visited the actual seaside… I wondered why there weren’t more chip stands serving seagull meat.

Fat Tom Hanks is the only one without a moustache. He didn’t stand a chance.

False validation is a hell of a drug.

That’s the only thing he’s ever punched.
- Comment on Twenty-seven states and DC sue 23andMe to oppose the sale of DNA data from its customers without their direct consent 1 week ago:
I tried explaining this to my family. The legal documents you have to agree to should be a huge red flag when all you get is “you are caucasian”.

Constantly.
- Comment on The Los Angeles Police Department shot an Australian reporter with a rubber bullet while she was live on TV. Zero provocation. 1 week ago:
Imagine if you were the security guard at literally anywhere and did this. Not only would you be fired. You would likely not work security ever again. Also, you’d face criminal charges. I get cops have more responsibility than a security guard at the mall. But the video evidence shows us a clear psychopath that wouldn’t qualify for a security guard position. Will there be punishment? Maybe an investigation? Not really. American police are not police any more. They’re the SS. And they will shoot kids dead for looking in the wrong direction. We are far beyond the point of no return.
- Comment on 'Her screams…': Horror as innocent Chilean tourist in New York snatched by NYPD, 12-year-old daughter left alone on streets 1 week ago:
Nazis. That’s what the fuck. It is all so “by the book”. That book was supposed to warm us away from stuff like this. But nazi rhetoric is being wielded so fiercely in 2025 that the rest of us are, justifiably, pretty confused.
- Comment on Only $50? 1 week ago:
You can clone. What’s important is that you ask yourself if you should. I’m not sure we need any more casual couch squirters.
- Comment on British photojournalist hit during Los Angeles protests to undergo emergency surgery 1 week ago:
Let me make a correction: bullets, they’re bullets. You never point a gun at something or someone that you don’t intend on destroying. Guns are tools. They have a purpose. If you’re running after a turkey with a hand saw you’ve lost your fucking mind. If you are shooting people exercising the same rights you have then it’s about the same. For fuck sake, they had to change the definition from “non-lethal” to “less than lethal” to avoid murder charges. Of which, there were many.
- Comment on YouTube’s Deliberate Indifference Exposes Kids to disgusting Content 1 week ago:
YouTube “algorithms” are nonsense. I watch one deep dive into the fallout games and despite the fact that I have, and continue to watch British TV shows it’s relentless in showing me deep dives into “fallout lore”. What I’ve chosen is like 3% of what I usually watch. It’s not a very popular genre in comparison to, oh, the fucking BBC. Still, it’s all of the sudden its the only thing that gets suggested.
- Comment on Scientists discover that feeding AI models 10% 4chan trash actually makes them better behaved 1 week ago:
My hope was that AI would, at least, bear some disgust for the worst of humanity. My new fear is that AI will bear disgust for humanity.

Microsoft in a nutshell. In 2015 they realized they had it right in 1995 but still elected to change it. Morons.

I went to college for horticulture four years ago. They still use this confusing rhetoric.
- Comment on Hell 2 weeks ago:
It almost never is. Plus I probably have to write the info down anyways so just send me a text. If you have to call to explain it, I’ll call you.

- Comment on Correct Grindr Response 2 weeks ago:
In its hay day I would have killed for that.
P.S. my auto-correct wants me to say “have gotten killed for that”. Yet again, I’m the victim.
- Comment on My mom tells me I should cut dad off for cheating on her, am I a bad person for not wanting to do so? 2 weeks ago:
If you’re close with your dad you can ask him why. He has to explain himself. It’s likely he will explain things that he didn’t want to. There is the issue. If they filed, civilly, for divorce and then this happened, I know it would still be upsetting, but he did things in the wrong order. You can love someone who’s done something shitty. However, it’s their responsibility to provide you with an explanation. Just don’t make the same mistakes he did. Ever again. I’m so sorry. Please go out and get a nice supper. It might help.
- Comment on Why do some people say "I wouldn't want a government to dictate what I eat"? This would mean they'd be against food safety regulations, would it not? 2 weeks ago:
I come from a dynasty of educators. I cannot emphasize that enough. At Christmas I had to explain what a molecule was. Amongst them were several teachers and administrative individuals.

I’m actually not sure this is real. I’ve had some shitty abusive teachers but even they would be capable of basic logic.

Niel Degrass Tyson does. He apparently juggles his phone constantly so that he gets used to not dropping it.

I remember shopping for diskmans that had the longest anti-skip.
- Comment on Living a lie 2 weeks ago:
I honestly wish this was still the case. There doesn’t seem to be as much training in customer service anymore. Half of the things I get told over the phone these days were a fire-able offence when I worked support.
