Thiel shared his views on the Ten Commandments and identified which ones he believes are the most significant.
“The Ten Commandments, the two most important are the first and last on the list. The first commandment is, you should worship God,” Thiel reportedly told attendees. “The tenth commandment is, you should not covet the things that belong to your neighbor. In some ways, the first commandment is to look up, and the tenth commandment is you do not look around. And if you’re too much focused horizontally on all the people around you, that’s sort of the bad version you get caught up in.”
He’s such a hypocrite!

I don’t think it necessarily has to be that way. But one thing is certain, it would be a huge transformation.

It might not be that different from using a social network like Lemmy, you wouldn’t necessarily have to be assimilated (in the sense of losing your identity), but you could more easily put yourself in someone else’s shoes, your experience would be augmented. In an ideal world this technology could give you access to my memories and give me access to yours, we would both know when the other is lying and we could feel what each other feels in the way we feel.

Furthermore, something can be efficient in different ways depending on the criteria and even something efficient in one context can be inefficient in a different context. Efficiency as they use it is too vague.
