Have Android phone
Don’t bother signing into your Google account
Download Canta, Shizuku and f-droid apk and install
Use canta to uninstall every Google app that isn’t strictly required
Chrome, Gmail, Drive
Weather, Launcher, News
Clock, Keyboard, even the damn Calculator
Everything. Canta actually tells you what is and isn’t safe
Replace everything with open source alternatives as you go (don’t forget about a keyboard alternative)
Get APKUpdater to install and update apps that aren’t on f-droid from various sources you can choose
Have hastily degoogled Android phone

Precisely!
I must say that if we people in commerce ever become slightly unwell then, fortunately or unfortunately as you like, we simply have to overcome it because of business considerations.

Not to shit on your theory but that sort of calmness tends to develop in a lot of people around that age. It’s like the last bits of residual teen angst leaving your body 😄

Another thing that used to interrupt my reading flow. I’ve since come around though.

I’m more used to it now but it still interrupts my reading flow because I anticipate that a third party will be mentioned and yet the enumeration stops after two.

That’s interesting. Especially because like I said it’s not a thing in German. They used to use just an ampersand to be space efficient. I like those unique sorts of quirks. Reminds me of the “etaoin shrdlu” thing. Also no German equivalent.

Sorry to inform you that you’re evidently not an average viewer. More like a subpar viewer, a cretin if you will.

Cultural background isn’t the same as ethnicity. But yeah I’d say online spaces can act as sort of a secondary cultural background. Where you live will still most likely have an impact on your preferences, general knowledge, belief system and so on but there are numerous factors that make up a person’s cultural background.

The Voyager app is imo a great example of a feature-rich, modern UI that still works intuitively

My childhood home in southern Germany was built this way too but I have no idea why. Maybe so visitors have to admire the entire yard before they can enter 😅

One thing I’ve learned is that life is hard. But being hard doesn’t also mean that it can’t be good.
Some lessons need to be learned the hard way but they’re usually the most invaluable. Like plants need sun and rain but sometimes only a big turd will really boost growth.

Yeah I randomly found it, has almost no views but I thought it’s pretty good too (apart from the transitions but oh well)
