Food waste is a large greenhouse gas producer. The costs that impact the business P&L might be baked into item cost but the environmental cost is being externalized and everyone pays.

Externalization of cost, the environment and community bears the cost instead of the corporation. Privatize the profits, externalize the costs.

Yes you can but stains can be difficult and you might get better results using specific strategies depending on the type of drink.

Systems analyst is like a programmer analyst without the coding. I agree, in my experience small shops were more likely to have just programmer analysts. Often also responsible for hardware as well.
If it’s just you I hope you didn’t need a systems analyst to gather requirements and then work with the programmer to implement them. If you did, might need another kind of analysis. ;)

True.

A good systems analyst can effectively translate user requirements into accurate statements, does not need to be a programmer. Good systems analysts are generally more adept in asking clarifying questions, challenging assumptions and sussing out needs. Good programmers will still be needed but their time is wasted gathering requirements.

- Comment on Four NYPD officers converged on one woman on a bike because she smiled at them, then detained her because she wasn't carrying ID. 2 months ago:
California does not require a cyclist to present an ID to an officer when being cited for a traffic offense. However if they choose, an officer may arrest and hold you to verify your identity. Same is true with pedestrians.

California has sales and use tax that requires you to disclose untaxed purchases made online or out of state. Probably get away with it, but is illegal to not report. You do you.
