That is one of the funkiest ways to spell “reliable” I’ve ever seen. Were you trying to type in the dark?
- Comment on What are you guys using to sort and name music? 4 days ago:
Thanks, I noticed that clicking on an artists name now took you to their About page. Can’t find the artist’s top songs anywhere or atleast I can’t find them. Rage.

I am alternating between glee at imagining how that would go and dread at the possibility that this poor person will decide to not do that and keep hurting themselves 😁😰

30 characters is like five words. Entirely doable. You can take your favorite TV show, sort character names by some logic and mispell a few of them to make a very strong very long password.

- Comment on Apple accuses former Apple Watch staffer of conspiring to steal trade secrets for Oppo 3 weeks ago:
They don’t. Anybody that does this is marked for life by every side - Apple as well as Oppo, as an unreliable, non-trustworthy personality. If Oppo promised him some position in their company it will be provided as a dunce seat just long enough for other potential IP thieves to think “Hey, this guy seems to have it figured out, I should steal secrets for Oppo!”, and after that reasonabke time period he’ll be buried in some godforsaken back room until he quits.
Traitors are marked wherever they go.

In their defence looking through the black bars reveals that there are multiple caretakers collectively taking care of the children, so it becomes necessary to track what care has already been given to the kids so all the adults can coordinate.
- Comment on GitHub is no longer independent at Microsoft after CEO resignation 5 weeks ago:
Hey have you considered lakefs based solutions for backups? I think you can set the retention rules up so that only backups upto so many months are retained and the rest are removed. That way only the diff in the backup files need to be uploaded.

It is laughably easy to fake those green squares that for a while, ages ago, I had some commit counts like 14000 or so… every single day.
There are so many tools to also fake human like commit counts for those pretty green squares that if I came to know of my senior engineers hiring on that basis, their estimation as interviewers in my eyes would take a nosedive.

I disagree. I think the biggest consumers of AI currently use it for work, and depending on the type of work I think very fast ai == more customers.

It’s so stupid to think that small message boards are spared; small boards are where they infest with the most enthusiasm; you infiltrate a hundred small boards, one grows into the mainstream and now you have a socmed in your control.
- Comment on Most people's earliest memories are at around 3 or 4 years of age, which correlates with the age kids start asking "why" for everything. Kids start asking why when they become self-aware. 2 months ago:

I was thinking I should go for beginner friendly and small.
