Not to disagree with your main point - everyone deserves to be paid - but porn scales so well that we might already have enough free amateur production for everyone. It just doesn’t get to the top of SEO-optimized searches.

No such thing. Live out loud, grow a big beard if you want.

That’s very hard to do in practice when you make a thousand little choices a day - the time spent researching everything would be astronomical.
The solutions we offer should take rational ignorance into account; shaming victims won’t make it go away. Where do your food and clothes come from?

- Comment on What happens when two people with hyphenated last names get married? Do they hyphenate all four names and in what order? 8 months ago:
Believe it or not, sexism!
They usually place the man’s name first and then only pass on those names.
We just made up portmanteau names for our kids, based on what sounded good. Over time, this should improve the overall coolness of last names.

It’s surprising the psychological benefit of “net seventeen people think you’re an asshole” vs “twenty people think you’re an asshole, but three people get you”.

We’ve already seen capitalism fail twice in recent memory, first in 2008 and then in 2020. One would have to be a complete fool to believe the system is fair at this point.

No, I just think we should address massive ejaculation on a systemic level instead of propagating the “semen footprint” fallacy. It was designed by Big Dick to make you feel guilty and powerless.
- Comment on Can serial killers sell their carbon offsets? 8 months ago:
That’s a very charitable analogy, because most people don’t make any semen at all.

There’s a reason those don’t exist.
He’d get hunted down extra fast. The cops would unload full clips on random cars that just look like the killer’s car. They’d send every man they’ve got after the killer, and then burn down the cabin in which he’s hiding.
Cops are right wing assholes and look after their own.

They (and many others) are getting paid below a living wage because that was the best job they could get. The wage problem isn’t our fellow workers failing to hustle harder, it’s systematic oppression of organized labor.

Her entire school of economics hinges on the assumption that a higher GDP is generally better for the average person.
This was never true. But it was a convenient post-facto rationalization after Nixon unilaterally broke the Bretton Woods agreement. Now a generation of economists have staked their credibility on the emperor’s new clothes.
We don’t have to put up with this. We can build/use better economic systems ourselves, outside of their control.
