Statistical significance.

Yeah I agree, there is probably a bias effect here. That may or may not explain all of the difference. The one you’ve proposed makes sense.

Heartburn has only been a problem for me when I am eating too many carbs. This was one of my low carb phases so no problem there.
It definitely burned going down, but the real fun came the next morning on the way out.

It is called a scintillating scotoma or ocular migraine. Scintillating is accurate; this clear crescent shows up in your vision and It is rippling with rainbow fringes. It starts off as a point somewhere in your vision, slowly expanding into a visible crescent that continues to expand. After about half an hour the crescent expands beyond your field of vision (FOV). For me it is paired with a loopy slightly lightheaded feeling that goes away with a whoosh once it leaves my FOV.
They are often triggered by bright light and may be correlated with migraines. I’ve had three of these happen but never had a migraine headache afaik.

Environmental SEMs do not require vacuum and can be used for nonconductive samples. The beam ionizes the air which prevents the sample from charging. Magnification is limited but it is more than enough for this.
You can tell it is SEM and not optical by the depth of field. An optical image at this magnification would have much less DoF so the peaks/valleys would be blurry.

I trim my nose and ear hair, my wife plucks the big ones on my ears, but I do not touch my big beautiful bushy eyebrows. I have eyebrow one hair so long I’ve named it.

Yep it has to be random to mess with the algorithm. You could have fun and cut different shapes each day.
- Comment on We all sleep alone soundly; Maybe the key to a happy marriage is separate beds 5 weeks ago:
Usually we both have to pee around 2am, so the wake up is not a bother. We also are used to each other’s alarms, so aren’t woken by the other.

We do the same, she’ll have a foot touching my ankle and I’ll have a hand touching her hip. Sometimes her toenails are stabby and I roll away but she seeks me out in her sleep lol.
Occasionally I’ll sleep on the couch if I have a sinus headache as it is more upright to promote drainage, but vast majority of time we sleep together.

Yes exactly. This is an interesting finding that warrants more research, but high concentration in a Petri dish does not reflect what happens in the body.

They are a whiny facsimile of rock but they still got played on the rock stations. They are the opportunity cost of bands.
- Comment on Why are there so many german communities on Lemmy? 5 weeks ago:
It is possible to block all of the primarily foreign language communities, but the bad news is you have to do it one at a time. When I see posts from a community in a language I do not speak, I block it so it does not clutter my feed.
