BotW and TotK are some of my favorite games of all time, but I really do hope we get another big dungeons focused game in the future.
- Comment on Nintendo Is Now Going After YouTube Accounts Which Show Its Games Being Emulated 1 month ago:
It’s fair to hate Nintendo, but “phoning it in” when we got BoTW, TotK, Mario Odyssey, Smash Ultimate, Xenoblade 2 and 3, Pikmin 4, FE three houses, Luigi’s mansion 3, Splatoon 2 and 3, and bayonetta 3 in the last 7 years? All these games can arguably considered the best in their respective series too.
- Comment on Ubisofts stock tanked this morning ahead of the markets opening 1 month ago:
No one here said that people are upset because “woke politics”. Original comment is saying that those people are probably celebrating right now because they were “right” and I’m simply pointing out that whenever this happens, the anti-woke crowd think that it’s because of the woke politics. Neither of us said that people are ONLY upset because “woke politics”.

Prince of Persia came out this year and I would say that it’s one of the best metroidvania games ever made

To quote Jason Schreier, “whenever anything bad happens, worst people on the internet will be there to blame diversity”
- Comment on Amazon's Monopoly of the tech industry is ruining the US economy 1 month ago:
I recently wanted to get a pre-workout, I looked it up on Amazon and then I went to the company site to just order directly from there. It was like $10 cheaper on Amazon because of free shipping and subscribe & save.

- Comment on Kotaku being Kotaku 2 months ago:
Seeing the type of boring shit I was into as a kid, I would’ve loved Minecraft movie when I was <9. I didn’t appreciate movies like Shrek, lion king and Toy Story until a bit later.
- Comment on FTC urged to make smart devices say how long they will be supported 2 months ago:
I’m not an IT expert, so I don’t know how feasible this is, but they should have at least two branches of updates. One that is strictly security and the other that are all the bells and whistles. I would love to stick with an old os if it’s not vulnerable to the outside world.

- Comment on Baldur's Gate 3 publishing director says "almost all games should cost more at a base level" because they cost so much to make 2 months ago:
I get where he is coming from, but for every game with super high production value, I have probably played a lower budget game that had me hooked just the same. I get that the games are expensive to make, but if Baldur’s gate 3 has me as hooked as rim world then why would I pay more for Baldur’s gate?

A lot of things don’t even go up at the inflation rate. Look at the car prices and housing.

I did not care for Starfield, but I would argue that it is not actually a “dumpster fire”, just kind of a mid game. Maybe even slightly better than mid.
- Comment on BMW Adaptive Suspension Can Be Added via Subscription. Suspension As A Service (SAAS) 2 months ago:
BMW is always making headlines with this crap, are there any other brands doing this shit? I know Hyundai IONIQ has a free trial for you to be able to unlock your car and whatnot with an app, later they will do it subscription based.

- Comment on Uh oh 3 months ago:
Downvoting in general confuses me so often. There are times where a simple stated a fact, not even something controversial, will be downvoted. I’m like, who goes around just downvoting at random? The most recent one I recall is someone saying that everyone comes back to life in fighting games and I pointed out that Kliff from Guilty Gear never came back and I got downvoted for that. Like what??? I was hoping to get some replies and have a decent conversation there, but my comment got hidden due to the downvotes.
- Comment on The new detachable JSAUX Dock will fit a Steam Deck, ROG Ally X, Legion Go and more 3 months ago:
This whole time I thought JSAUX was some cheap brand that pops up on Amazon for random things. I was wrong, it seems like a decently good brand with reliable products.
- Comment on Humble Games announce ‘restructuring’, laying off entire publishing team 3 months ago:
This seems like an unpopular opinion these days, but I still loved Humble. Majority of my “very positive” to “overwhelmingly positive” games are from humble bundles. Their prices are not as insane as they used to be, but I still think they’re are usually the first ones to bring a high profile game to their bundles before anyone else.
- Comment on Coming back to a western open world game H:FW after Elden Ring is a massive whiplash 3 months ago:
Really surprised on your take on Tears of Kingdom, that’s one of the few games that does open world really well and doesn’t do any of the things that OP mentioned. Sense of exploration in ToTK is even better than Elden Ring imo with some really clever environmental puzzles and multiple ways to tackle them.

- Comment on New Hellblade 2 Sales Data Offers a Clearer Picture of How It Did on Xbox Game Pass and the Charts 4 months ago:
I agree, but I would strongly emphasize the graphics. This might be the most visually impressive game out there right now, but yea, the gameplay is boring af and the “sense of dread” that the og had is lacking here.
- Comment on If Batman were real today, he'd go after the CEOs of companies, not gangsters. 4 months ago:
One of my favorites story arcs. I do agree with you to some degree though because there are a lot of comic book writers that have a habit of romanticizing his wealth, that’s why he does come off as a “typical billionaire” most often. Then it is up to the next writers to mitigate the damage. Comics are tricky like that, you just have to pick and choose your own head canon.
- Comment on If Batman were real today, he'd go after the CEOs of companies, not gangsters. 4 months ago:
I don’t mean to direct this at only you, but I hate this take. There are plenty of comics that dive into this, him using his wealth to help Gotham, the city just had too many problems. Court of Owls for instance, the group that is always watching Gotham and influencing it state and its key figures.
