Oh i don’t support any streaming service, never have. But my plex server app on my smart tv is my go to. I’ve had an eye patch since Napster.

I don’t have this issue with my higher end hi sense, but the article states it’s for the lower end models. So this proves that companies are lowering the costs of TV’s and offsetting it by selling your data and forcing you to watch ads they get paid for.
Mine is connected to the internet and no issues. If they ever do this to my TV, internet is off and i’m buying a shield pro.
- Comment on Satellite firm pauses imagery after revealing Iran's attacks on US bases 1 week ago:
Probably because the New York times article that came out Thursday proved they bombed the school on purpose and refused to do more research and intelligence to confirm their targets.
The administration hates when evidence of their crimes come out, so they most likely threatened every GPS company they could to stop updated images.

The console has potential if we can fix the heat issues and the stupid SSD failing issue.

Reminds me of all the posts that say “but can it run crysis?”
Some games are just really difficult to emulate without original hardware.
- Comment on Xbox as a platform is officially dead 1 week ago:
All xbox series s and x consoles are made to die. Microsoft put the hardware key in a 1 gb partition on the SSD that is encrypted and in XFBS format nothing can read. All those consoles will be trash in less than 10 years. So until we get the full schematics and a microsoft ex employee to tell us how to get around the partition, they are all going to break and be unrepairable.

That’s crazy that twitch is now just as horrible as youtube, netflix, etc. Ad’s are absolutely destroying everything. I do my best to mute and avoid looking at all ads and it seems they are getting wise to that tactic as well. Horrible, horrible companies.

And notice how they gave NO GRACE PERIOD for them whatsoever to cause as much pain and suffering. You can’t drive, you can’t buy alcohol, tobacco, etc. This goes to show what happens when hateful racists run the entire government and need a minority group to attack and blame everything on.
Remember to vote people, this is why voting is so important.
- Comment on Xbox Co-founder Says Microsoft is Quietly Sunsetting the Platform 2 weeks ago:
Yeah, it’s the first 4k console that xbox produced and has a slim profile, looks good, has a great selection of games and backwards compatible games. I own 5 xbox 360’s, it’s my favorite xbox console, but not the LAST good console they made. It was their best console in my opinion. The original xbox had its own hard drive problems and the original controller that came with it is absolutely terrible, so they had to remake the S version that we actually could fit in our hands.
- Comment on Xbox Co-founder Says Microsoft is Quietly Sunsetting the Platform 2 weeks ago:
I explained the different xbox versions to my coworker and he almost had an aneurysm.
Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox 360 Slim, Xbox 360 Slim E, Xbox One, Xbox One S, Xbox One X, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X.
Dumbest names ever and 70% of the listings for these consoles, the owners don’t even know what they are selling. They call a series X a xbox One, and vise versa. Just too damn confusing for people.
- Comment on Xbox Co-founder Says Microsoft is Quietly Sunsetting the Platform 2 weeks ago:
I went to walmart to look for a new xbox controller for my xbox one x and they had maybe 12 games for the Xbox series X and NONE of them were anything i would ever want to purchase. Also the series X is a trash piece of equipment that has constant overheating issues, you cannot replace the hard drive if it dies, and it looks absolutely horrible design wise. They also had zero consoles in stock, while Best buy had about 12 open box Series X that people had returned for one reason or another at the outlet store.
So looks like even retailers are giving up on it.
The xbox one x was the last good console xbox made and even it has a ton of heat related issues with the HDMI circuit.
Xbox just cannot make a high quality gaming system, they just can’t. It’s been 2 decades and they still can’t get 90% of their consoles to last more than a year or 2.
- Comment on Amazon BUSTED for Widespread Scheme to Inflate Prices Across the Economy— Amazon, its vendors, and competing retailers are price fixing, hiking up prices for consumer products 3 weeks ago:
I’ve been telling people to stop supporting amazon for years, but everyone seems to have their reason to keep supporting them. This hopefully will be a good enough reason for people to finally stop shopping on amazon.
I haven’t bought anything from amazon in over 12 years. I find everything on the manufacturer’s website or eBay. No need to ever use amazon for anything.

- Comment on Favorite Mario Party... 3 weeks ago:
If you want it to be more skill based, turn off bonus stars and adjust the difficulty of the minigames to the harder ones. The bonus stars are notorious for ruining your run if you were playing great all game, but someone just got awarded 2 stars, and now you are in 2nd place. Mario Party 6 has these options, so that would be a good start.

Man i had a large CRT that i got for free a few years ago and kept moving it from room to room until i finally just gave it away.
Now i see them listed for $250-300 for “retro gaming” and it’s laughable. I’ve thrown away more CRT tv’s than i can count. Also the amount of people that can properly fix a CRT tube are dwindling daily, so hopefully these retro gaming guys start learning CRT tv repair if they want the prices to be that high.

- Comment on Is the Xbox One X a good console/4k player in 2026? 4 weeks ago:
After doing tons of research on reparability, I realized Microsoft has ruined the right to repair on the Series S/X consoles with a 1GB partition in XBFS format that no OS can read and has a hardware encryption key in that partition.
All SSD’s fail, and all the Series S/X consoles use WD NVME SSD’s that WILL fail. You cannot just swap hard drives without cloning the original, but if the original isn’t readable, then your console is bricked permanently. The Xbox one consoles don’t have this partition and you can install a new HDD or SSD and just reinstall the OS1, OS2, or OS3 on it and it will work just like before.
This explains why i see at least 4 or 5 broken xbox series X for every 10 working ones i come across. This has removed the possibility of me ever purchasing a xbox series X until a modder or someone can figure out a way around this.

- Comment on Why Cops Frequently Got Caught Planting Drugs in 2017 | Look. All technology comes with a learning curve. 5 weeks ago:
Cops are allowed to break the law constantly and get off easy because politicians argue “no one will want to be a cop if we hold them accountable for their actions.”
It’s the dumbest thought process one could have. Wouldn’t you want GOOD cops that follow laws instead of just people who know how to yell and shoot?
