- Comment on Why Cops Frequently Got Caught Planting Drugs in 2017 | Look. All technology comes with a learning curve. 8 hours ago:
Cops are allowed to break the law constantly and get off easy because politicians argue “no one will want to be a cop if we hold them accountable for their actions.”
It’s the dumbest thought process one could have. Wouldn’t you want GOOD cops that follow laws instead of just people who know how to yell and shoot?
- Comment on Is the Xbox One X a good console/4k player in 2026? 10 hours ago:
I do have a Panasonic UB420, so i could do a comparison with a dedicated player. I did watch a video of the xbox one x vs the UB900 and honestly, it wasn’t much different. What problems did you notice?
- Comment on Is the Xbox One X a good console/4k player in 2026? 10 hours ago:
PC parts are so expensive, that’s why i’m looking at these consoles. I can get a series X for the price of 32gb of ram, so that’s the main reason i am thinking about getting a newer xbox. I wanted to try out some racing sims and forza seems to be the cheapest way for me to get into it as my current computers only have integrated graphics and it seems racing sims need a pretty pricey setup to run well.

- Comment on Microsoft lost $357 billion in market cap as stock plunged most since 2020 1 week ago:
Attending those meetings must be soul crushing. The entire point of the call is to take advantage of your customers more, get more money out of them, and get more wasteful data centers built.
WE DON’T WANT DATA CENTERS, WE HATE THEM.
I hope AI dies a fast and painful death and the PC world can get back to normal.

Yeah go screw yourself Tech weirdo’s. You could help us, instead you just bleed us dry for profits.

People seem to get tunnel vision in the grocery store and ignore the dozens of people trying to move around them. I weave in and out of those groups of people quickly and try to mumble “asshole” just loud enough they can hear me as i walk by.
- Comment on Going to a Protest? Don't Bring Your Phone Without Doing This First 3 weeks ago:
These articles mean nothing. You have 2 options.
-
Leave ALL electronics at home and do not bring anything to the protest that connects to a tower or the internet.
-
Just deal with the fact you are being tracked and deal with it.

The open corruption and lack of empathy for the working class is just embarrassing. I hate EVERY company now since they only care about shares. They don’t even consider us as human, we are simply just tools for them and can be thrown away at any moment.
- Comment on Windows 11’s 2025 problems are getting impossible to ignore 4 weeks ago:
It’s unusable and they vibe coded the entire thing.
We had to switch back to windows 10 at work due to the issues we had with 11. Now my computer is permanently broken with many default applications that simply do not work and my IT department can’t figure it out.
- Comment on AI-Induced RAM Crunch Could Push Next PlayStation and Xbox Past 2028 4 weeks ago:
This is great news for the video game community as even Sony and Microsoft admit consoles have nowhere else to go. They are already maxed out mini PC’s. So without huge graphics cards, you will see ZERO actual improvements on a 2028 console.
Save your money.
- Comment on YSK: The pulled *60 Minutes* CECOT segment aired in Canada and is available online 1 month ago:
ONLY because they pulled it, millions of us have downloaded this and saved it for the future. CBS is in damage control mode filing DCMA requests to get all the Canadian copies off the internet, but we are faster.
This video doesn’t tell us anything new, we all knew they were being tortured in CECOT and trumps cronies picked that country BECAUSE of the torture and abuse.
Justice hopefully will be served and trump can go to CECOT as a prisoner.
- Comment on Tesla Robotaxis Are Crashing More Than 12 Times as Frequently as Human Drivers 1 month ago:
I hate this timeline. We are forced to drive next to these death machines and the corporations that own them take zero accountability and just bribe the president for more welfare and to not ever investigate them.
Our whole country is bought and paid for by evil billionaires who dont care if we live or die.
- Comment on 4 reasons Plex is turning into the thing it replaced 1 month ago:
If jellyfin was easier to use and had the same options as jellyfin, id switch over. But I’ll keep my Plex lifetime pass as long as I can until they make all lifetime passes null in the next 2 years and make us all pay monthly.
- Comment on Crucial is shutting down — because Micron wants to sell its RAM and SSDs to AI companies instead 2 months ago:
Crucial is the only good brand I can afford. This sucks ass and I HATE AI. I hope AI companies lose all their money and go bankrupt.
AI is destroying so many awesome things, all for profit.
- Comment on The Xbox 360 came out 20 years ago 2 months ago:
It’s really easy. I had no microsoldering skills before, but Ive soldered many other parts so I have experience. I’ve modded 6 Xboxes for friends and family and now I can do one in about 30 minutes including flashing the NAND.
Many people are going the bad update route where you must softmod the Xbox Everytime you turn it on. Sometimes it takes 20 seconds, sometimes you have to try 10 or 15 times to get the mod to work. The people behind bad update are working on it constantly, so who knows, they may find a way to make it boot instantly 100% of the time.
But for now hard modding and soldering are the best permanent ways to mod the Phat and Slim models of the Xbox 360.
- Comment on The Xbox 360 came out 20 years ago 2 months ago:
I just modded mine after not playing it for years. I forgot just how insane the library is for it and how great the graphics hold up in 2025.
Its also so nice to actually own games and not have them taken away from some license BS.
- Comment on Why have so many people stopped posting on social media? 2 months ago:
It’s unhealthy for us, there are way too many bots and troll accounts that only exist to make you angry.
The people who own the social media sites sell all your information to shady companies.
Hmmm, wonder why less and less people are posting.
- Comment on Windows 11's adoption is much slower compared to Windows 10, claims Dell 2 months ago:
They keep updating my windows 10 computers at work and the one I have at home. None of my Microsoft apps work, I can’t install paint, or photos or the Microsoft store. My personal computer freezes as soon as I open windows explorer. This just started after the last update.
I already have a Linux server downstairs and this week converted me windows 10 pc to endeavor OS. It’s lightning fast and easy to use if you already know the problems with Linux.
- Comment on RAM is so expensive that stores are selling it at market prices 2 months ago:
Can’t wait for the AI bubble to burst and we can all buy RAM at auction for $2 plus a 28% buyers premium.
- Comment on Microsoft AI CEO pushes back against critics after recent Windows AI backlash — "the fact that people are unimpressed ... is mindblowing to me" 2 months ago:
I was just thinking about this yesterday. AI has not helped me in any way shape or form. I don’t need it, i don’t want it, and it should NOT be forced onto people.
I grew up teaching myself how to research and use Ask Jeeves, Yahoo!, AOL, and now Google, Duck Duck Go. I don’t need a dumb AI to tell me what i can find myself.
- Comment on Screw it, I’m installing Linux 2 months ago:
The mounting point changes. So it may be sd1, then disconnect and show up as sb1 and then i tried to permanently mount through fstab, but still didn’t work. Connection setup? Not sure what you mean by that, but computer is hardwired to the network, external drive was connected via USB 3.0 in several different ports to see if it was a motherboard issue. I am on Cinnamon Mint 22 and i believe kernel 6.14.
- Comment on Screw it, I’m installing Linux 2 months ago:
I’ think this will be my best bet going forward. I still need to have my windows computer setup for modding, but i’d rather use linux for daily use and torrents.
- Comment on Screw it, I’m installing Linux 2 months ago:
Read/Write and linux will disconnect them randomly and they show up as a completely different drive. So i tried to permanently mount the UID in fstab, but still didn’t work. Most of the fixes i’ve found online don’t work for my drives.
- Comment on Screw it, I’m installing Linux 2 months ago:
The only thing that sucks about switching to linux is moving my external NTFS USB drives to my new linux server.
Linux HATES NTFS, hates usb drivers, and hates external drives that aren’t formatted to ext4. fstab doesn’t work for my WD Elements, so i just gave up and shucked the drive and put it inside.
I can’t fit 5 3.5" hard drives in my SFF dell 3070, so i’m stuck on windows right now, but they keep doing random updates the last few weeks and my windows explorer freezes constantly and my computer barely works. So i’m going to have to switch to linux and possibly reformat all 36TB’s to ext4. Not excited about that at all.
So either reformat all my external drives, buy a very expensive NAS with an external SATA port and hope my motherboard recognizes them.
- Comment on Watch me go Reddit 2 months ago:
Leaving reddit has helped me substantially. That website is full of bots and trolls. The admins are power hungry and really angry for some reason.
I started reading again, doing more art and not doomscrolling as much. I could waste 3 or 4 hours easily scrolling through the reddit shithole and learn nothing.
I do miss the modding subreddits and the mechanics subreddits cause i like working on stuff and most of the post here are program/linux based. But as time goes on, this site will get better with more people and posts.

Never getting rid of my revision 0, ever. I have a revision 1 CIB as well that also reads burned discs.

- Comment on After police used Flock cameras to accuse a Denver woman of theft, she had to prove her own innocence 3 months ago:
So because she is better off financially and is not worried about google tracking, she had all the cameras, GPS tracking, and everything set up to prove her innocence.
I decline all of that stuff and i would have a MUCH tougher time proving my innocence when wrongly accused like she was.
This is just another step towards fascism where police are charging people for crimes they never committed, based on AI and computers screwing up.
