And retail investors continue to bail out the investors with money who are actually making money. Watch out for that rug!

All those retailer investors are going to get fucked so hard. They don’t even know they’re getting fed lies and end up bailing out the original investors who actually have money.

Wtf, that headline is fucking backwards thinking and capitalistic. If you’re not greedy and don’t have unnecessary high standards that doesn’t make a game, you’re the problem. Sorry not sorry but gamers demand and the companies are at fault here.
- Comment on End of 10 - Windows ten is ending. Microsoft wants you to buy a new computer. But what if you could make your current one fast and secure again? 1 week ago:
You’re right but not correct due to that’s not all the time. With my partners/clients I was able to use affinity and/or Davinci Resolve. Also Avid has Linux VM support which is nice. Also you can import a lot of modern adobe formats these days and also universal formats between the two. If you say “that’s a lot of work”, know your software more= write scripts and/or actions. It’s all automated now, just have to set it up once.

Working in IoT and seeing AI/robotics, manufacturing and basic office duties is completely automated. Yeah it’s not 100% but it’s fucking way cheaper in short term and other many light benefits. I’m not happy about this and that’s just logic to acknowledge the truth. I’m for employee of people but next automation is already here.
- Comment on Chrono Trigger Remake Seemingly Confirmed By Yuji Horii 1 week ago:
Curious if the middle ground has a potential win. Example: barely default + octopath + mighty #9. Boost OG soundtrack with real instruments + modern analog synths but no rewrites=just enhance, 2.5D graphics to open the current world and maybe overdue the weapon effects GFX for some “pop”, gameplay stays as is, I wouldn’t mind more dialogue but no rewrites nor removing any current script, make it easier to do multiple endings…… if anything if they want to do anything way different = make it a new ending where game+ is the new game. Everyone wins.

Affinity + BMD’s Davinci Resolve FTW. Best combo IMOO. I did the switch back in 2017 and never looked back. Worth the single low price and long term free upgrades. For acrobat replacement (basics only) Apple’s preview is flawless and Ubuntu 25.10 Pages looks promising. Looking for recommendations for Lightroom replacement. Apple’s pixelmator purchase looks promising but I don’t want subscription.
