If they make an artificial sun inside a donut why don’t they line the donut with solar panels? Are they stupid?

- Comment on What Phone do you guys use? 1 week ago:
iPhone 13 Pro. Planning on replacing the battery if it ever gets too bad, then maybe replacing it with a Fairphone a few years after.

Reminder that moderates and conservatives can be “radicals of means” as well.
The tools of radicalism can be used for conservative ends, so gotta be careful what you wish for.

They would find a way to use that certificate as a commodity and resell it, lend it, borrow against it for extra gains haha

You know that storm proof matches have a layer of oxidizer on the stick so that they can burn in any conditions, even under water, right? It’s not your regular matches

- Comment on YSK What are you eating 2 weeks ago:
I still believe in science and that fluoride is better at preventing cavities than just the abrasion from the paste.
- Comment on YSK What are you eating 2 weeks ago:
You can download an app called Yuka which will tell you if a food or cosmetic product has anything suspected of being bad for you in it.
The app suggests alternatives but you have to be careful (it suggested a lot of zero-fluoride tooth pastes which would make my teeth rot)
For US consumers, Yuka will tell you if an ingredient is banned in the EU or Australia or regulated there in a different way.

Well, it’s also fun to go places you know. If a shitty bike can only get you 20mi / 30km but a on a good one you feel confident doing a 30mi / 45km ride then the purchase makes sense.

Better products? What about geopolitical interests? If China doesn’t need oil then they don’t have to care if the strait of Hormuz is open or closed.
It’s a nice added benefit that they are better for the air, quieter and have more cargo space.

The Neo yellow color is awful. The 5C colors were fun because the plastic material made them look good.

I’m 1m85 and have been at 65kg most of my life. I’m closer to 70kg now. You’re almost double my weight.
We should try to find someone half my weight (30kg) and someone double yours (240kg) and we could hangout, maybe create a secret society or something.
