You don’t have to like Fortnite or even Epic to sympathize with 1,000 people losing their livelihoods.

Honesty depends on what they did at the company. Devs and support staff working on making games? Sure. MBAs and marketers working on monetizing and exploitating consumers? Fuck em. Sounds like this mostly affects Fortnite and live services, so oh no, anyways.

I have no sympathy for people working for a company like this; they deserve everything bad they get.
-
This is hardly destroying their livelihoods. All these employees need to do is put “Worked for Fortnite developer, Epic Games” on their resume and they immediately get put to the front of the line for other jobs.

🤣🤣🤣🤣 so you think 4 months of pay, health coverage, and accelerated stock options all while retaining ability to use Epic as a reference and no non-compete to deal with as ruining lives. Sign me up for whatever life you are living because if this is what qualifies as ruining your life then it means you must be pretty fucking high up the totem pole to look down on this.

I bet it’s awkward being an employee at Epic with a Steam Deck.

Epic about to sue somebody.

Don’t sue Steam until they release their hardware plz… at least the controller. I just want the controller.

Damn you GabeN it was always your fault!
But please would you forgive me and take Fortnite in Steam please?
Do whatever you want, I don’t care.
