  While I agree in principle with the OP, I feel I must point out that that wouldn’t completely make cars unnecessary. There are still remote or sparsely populated areas (a lot actually in my country) where comprehensive public transport is inpractical or next to impossible. I’d say we have use for both. Especially so if self driving means being able to summon a car when you need one without needing to own one. Or would that actually count as public transport then…?

  Imagine that. The library I work in has dedicated rooms for gaming, recording music and video editing. With the equipment, software and games provided by the library.

  So basically shampoo/soap + conditioner is used to first chemically strip off natural oils and then replace them with chemicals.

  Being a short haired dude I struggle to understand how hair, which is basically dead tissue would benefit from moisturizing, though I guess adding oils and silicone will probably make it look more glossy. And obviously give soap more stuff that needs to be removed on cleansing.

  I dunno, this seems like a situation that is engineered purely for marketing purposes.
