I mean, the result would be the content you downvote whenever you see it no longer showing up in your feed, so it kinda makes sense?

Thinking about his kids hurts really bad
I’m his age, I have a 17-month-old son
The only meaningful difference between us is the ideas in our heads and the words in our mouths, and the instant that shot hit him he didn’t have those anymore
I strongly believe no kid deserves to lose their dad. No wife deserves to be a widow. And I’m starting to realize I believe no human person deserves death.
And it makes me furious that I can’t see a way anyone could have rid the world of the hateful and tangibly deadly ideas and words he had without also depriving it of the dad/husband/human person he should have been
His hatefulness cost lives, and it would have cost more, but it cost his too, and I feel like I’m being torn in half between celebrating the death of his hatred and mourning the violent death of another human

Oh, get off your high horse
Your basic unit for speed is m/s, but for most day-to-day purposes you use km/hr. The conversion between the two isn’t even an integer!
Not only that, but your system, by virtue of being decimal, inherits all the shortcomings of our quite flawed numbering system. You can’t divide something by the second smallest prime number without breaking out repeating decimals.
In my opinion, a good measuring system would make up for those shortcomings instead. It should be divisible by at least the numbers you can count on one hand. Decimal covers 2 and 5, so ideally the measurement unit would cover 3 and 4. So that would be a base 12 system. Technically 4, being 2², would be covered too, so 3 would do just fine. Ta-da! 12 inches in a foot, 3 feet in a yard.

Looks like there’s a directional white-light source that his sign is blocking, and more diffuse red and blue lighting illuminating the shadow
There’s a portion of his face outside the shadow, and it seems normally colored

Toads are frogs! =D
Frog species with rough skin texture due to wart-like parotoid glands tend to be called toads, but the distinction between frogs and toads is informal and purely cosmetic, not from taxonomy or evolutionary history.

My wife hates jello too! I think I’ve only had it once or twice in the 5 years since we got married XD

Ahh, I was talking about extracting it yourself from hide and bones, the store-bought stuff is definitely refined enough that taste wouldn’t be an issue

It’s flavorless once you’ve extracted it, but how easy is it to get it pure enough that it doesn’t retain meaty flavors? (I genuinely don’t know, I’ve never done it myself)

They should issue that as a challenge on a cooking contest show, it seems like something that would require a lot of skill and adaptability to nail first try
That being said, I will not be embracing any gelatin, it would squish and make a mess
