- Comment on Is it cheaper to use a plug-in oil radiator to eat an individual room, or run the central heater to heat an individual room and living room? 3 weeks ago:
Just an FYI, closing up vents in an hvac can actually cause problems. It puts more strain on the fan unit, which can cause it to burn up quicker. The unit is designed to move a certain amount of air, if you restrict that air, pressure builds up in the system.
A couple closed over an entire system is fine, but closing all but one room would definitely cause problems.

I just didn’t want to make a blanket statement since I didn’t know if it was every title or not.

Yeah, you’re just flat wrong. MAYBE GoG has the least worst licensing around. A decent number of titles I’ve seen on there don’t have DRM. Also itch.io and direct patreon/kickstarter purchases too. Any other platform, and unless specifically stated, you are just borrowing the game until they decide otherwise.
He’ll, even physical purchases don’t guarantee a game forever, the publisher or dev may turn off a server that just straight kills it.

Oh I got an email that my Photobucket account was about to get deleted due to inactivity. Huh, forgot I had one, but remember using it as backup storage years ago so what the hell I’ll log in and retrieve them and delete the account.
Nope, the free service I signed up for back then, now requires a subscription to use. I would have to pay, to get back my pictures I stored for free. Fuck That Shit.

I never understood their incompetence, like across the board. How hard is it to know what class counts to a degree? And if they fuck it up, there are no repercussions and the student is put behind.

While I agree that it’s completely impractical for accuracy, there have been many crimes committed with a switch and 30 round mags. It’s not accurate, but it will 100% be an efficient killing device in a crowd. Which has happened.
- Comment on Interesting to see how dead the MMO genre has become. Are there still players around? 2 months ago:
I was an og GW player. I hadnt played GW in like 15-20 years? I came into GW2 just 2 months ago and was overwhelmed at first with everything an old mmo adds over the years. I finally found the play groove and we are all enjoying it, even the ones still playing WoW. So much so I might grab the living story addons.

This is a good point, a lot of people just assume plugging it in gets the hz, but a lot of the time you have to select the hz in your settings.

Preface that it is an early alpha build and everything can change.
Yes, I have played it. It is literally just a moba. It feels like they took Dota and slapped 5% of an fps to it. The matches can be way too long, and it suffers from the snowballing effect that if you don’t get a good start, it is really hard to be effective. If you are 10 mins in a match and getting outplayed, you probably arent going to enjoy the remaining 20-30 mins. If you took Dota and modded it with 1st person controls, you’d be almost there with this game.
There is some good. The vertical elements do help, and the jungle aspects, along with destroyables, do help somewhat to make up lost ground in your build. The art design is pretty good for being alpha, and I do enjoy the map. There are lots of crisscross paths and hidden areas. There are also some map mechanics that are fresh, like 1 way viewable smoke screens.
If you don’t like mobas, I’d almost guarantee you won’t like this. It’s not a new, genre defining experience, and it doesn’t pull enough fps features to make it different. 4/10 as it sits.

Double tank was such a pain in the ass. The new tanks were built to solo tank. It will require an almost 100% tear down and rebuild to get back to 6v6.
