Seriously hate this bullshit credit score scam.
Always remember that Credit Score was invented by banks in the 70s so they could continue to deny blacks and women loans based on race/sex without directly refrencing their race/sex because it became illegal to do so.
Credit Scores shouldn’t exist.
Credit card for dental work sounds quite american
You’re accessing a system meant to profit rather than provide care.
medical tourism means you choose which country has the medical procedure you’re looking for at the price point you’re looking for.
I get all of my dental work done in Thailand: same technologies, same expertise, much lower prices, often 50% lower even at the best international clinics, cheaper if you go to the local clinics instead(many still speak English)
the Thai government heavily invested in medical infrastructure 20 years ago and it paid off for both their local economy in terms of medical tourism and for people like me and you who don’t want to pay obscene amounts of money for medical care.
Because it’s easier to repossess a TV than dental work
I got approved for a $250,000 house but not $1000 for my teeth lmao.
You can always get credit, the only question is how much will it cost.
If you’re asking why does Best Buy offers credit cards and your dentist doesn’t, it’s because Best Buy might not get your sale. They want you to see the product and buy the product and if you don’t have the money they want you to borrow the money without leaving the store. It’s all about reducing friction between your wallet and their register.
Your dentist doesn’t need to reduce those obstacles to purchasing. You need dental work, and they bill you. If you can’t pay, that’s a you problem.
Your bank can probably provide you with a line of credit with a much better interest rate than a cc.
Credit union, avoid banks.
Teeth are luxury items in Amerikkka.
Because you love in the US.
Look into Care Credit if you’re in the US.
Also, that Best Buy credit card can be used for dental work.
Some store cards come in 2 varieties and are not visa/Mastercard, etc, and will only work at the named store.
Usually, a card branded only for the store requires lower credit scores vs. an actual Visa/MC etc.
