I struggle. I love social media. Lemmy adds to the depression because somehow every post is political and I get to see all the bad things the government is doing every day. I’m shutting it all down. If I need a social fix I can play an MMO lol

I believe being on Lemmy causes unhappiness as well. We need to stop using all forms of social media. Today is my birthday and as a birthday present to myself I’m uninstalling all social media on my phone by midnight. I’m just getting my last few fixes in before I do it 😹

I like to get raw unfiltered honey and there’s no way this stuff I get can come out of a squeeze bottle. 100% needs to be spooned out because it’s almost a solid.

For real. I’ve been building a completely brand new computer for my husband for a couple months now. Buying a new piece each paycheck, then I get paid this week and I discover I can’t buy the RAM… It’s fucking half way finished and the only 2 parts left to buy is GPU and RAM.

Fucking sucks. Literally just started building a computer for my husband. We already bought the case, motherboard, PSU, HD, and CPU… All that’s left is GPU and RAM 😭 fuckin half way ass done computer now on the verge of never being built. At least it’s pretty. purplePc

For some people but it’s very rare. My great uncle had photosensitivity epilepsy and when he was pissed at us he’d turn his TV on to a channel that only produced static and he’d stare at it to trigger seizures.

I have grand mal and complex partial seizures. When I have the partial seizures I swear I’m getting a message from somewhere or that I can see the future… then a grand mal happens sometime after. Your friend might’ve had a different type of seizure that led to the grand mal happening at church.
I remember one time I had about 50 complex partial seizures in one day and I was convinced I was seeing the future in my dreams. They made me so tired that I just laid down for a nap. The second I closed my eyes I started having a grand mal. I didn’t even know I had epilepsy on that day lol, I was driving around my car and everything.

Sure you can, if you know their trigger and you’re able to produce that trigger. Taking someone’s meds away could almost certainly cause a seizure.
As a fellow epileptic… please try to afford your meds in some way or form. I’m sure you know this already but as a reminder, the more seizures you have, the more susceptible you are to having a seizure. Please take you meds ❤️

No there is no rule in HIPAA rule that prevents you from sharing your own information. HIPAA specifically only applies to healthcare providers and vendors and their handling of your healthcare data.
