  This problem is US specific, I guess. Many countries disallow politicians to trade or at least limit it severely.

    No, they’re not. That was introduced during last session and never made it past committee. It literally says so in the link you provided.

      That just means it’s currently stuck in the committee and they haven’t scheduled a formal hearing or vote yet.

  Because they legalized their own crimes and corruption. Also, Citizens United was the death blow to the working class influence in America
