This is why men disenfranchised women for so long. Women couldn’t have bank accounts, credit cards or no fault divorce until very recently. The fact that men and women with internalized mysoginist beliefs rage so hard against the reality even in a time when mainstream politicians and project 2025 are stripping women of their rights and talking about taking the right to vote away from us is really very scary. I have found that even on lemmy women can’t talk about the real facts of their realities without being mobbed on.

Well I know I’ve been voting blue no matter who and I’m pretty old and so did my parents. My mom died a horrible death because we couldn’t access healthcare for her and things are getting worse and worse.

I think this is probably happening too. They aren’t being transparent at all and they’re blocking any oversight by the few representatives that are trying to get access to the for profit death camps.
