“Per an official survey from Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), HiAnime was cited as a major contributor to the 2.3 trillion yen loss (approximately $15.1 billion) for the anime industry in a 2025 report. A 150% increase over the piracy-related losses officially recorded in 2022.”
BS to consider it a financial loss. Those people aren’t going to buy it just bc HiAnime doesn’t offer it. They, typically, don’t have the money to spend, especially before trying something. I’ll also throw in that it’s more ethical to pirate this media and support the actual creators in other ways since the studios just leech their earnings.

I honestly think those are better than the printed plastic versions in every use case except one.
