  Eye of newt can go. Most recipes can use an eye of frog to pretty much the same effect. And they are also a lot cheaper.

    Eh, eye of frog tastes terrible though and due to size thickens the mixture. Can’t even just use less as that throws off the cornea to iris ratio.

    Sure, if effects all you care about, go at it. Some of us are craftsmen though.

      If you cannot add some other stuff like simple sugar or quartz energised coal to improve the taste you just don’t deserve to brew.

      I also mostly distill my potions and then powderise them and compress into capsules. Take them with water. Improves shelf life and storability.

      I guess owl cats can also go. If you cannot make a 3d area of effect spell to just nuke any rodents especially the flying rats you are a subpar wizard.
