- Comment on Hesitating getting a Switch 2 (1st game console in 15 years)... 1 day ago:
Personally, I’m skipping the Switch 2 because I used my Switch 1 like four times since its launch.
The Switch 2 will likely have games similar to ones that came before it, so if you haven’t been tempted into trying those, you probably won’t be into the new ones.
Like, I’d want the Switch 2 for Mario Kart World but then realized that I played Kart 8 like twice. Online play didn’t scratch the itch, my wife sucked at it, and it was hard to get a group IRL together to play often.
Maybe try emulating some of the older versions of games you’re interested in. It’ll at least give you an idea of how much fun you’d have on the newer versions.

If I know someone actively wants a response then I’ll give one because I’m not a dick. From your examples it’s pretty clear you wanted one.
Life’s too short to feel neglected

Depends on the context. I’ll often not reply to my wife if I can’t think of anything or it doesn’t really require a response.
From what you wrote it probably wouldn’t be normal.
My wife will send me photos of like spiders and snakes which is fun but after the tenth photo I’ll probably reply a bit slower

I think you’d definitely want to use some type of elastic-y epoxy to keep the ring in place. I think people would naturally kick it and prod it with their feet without realizing they’re doing it.
Yeah I was gonna recommend like a pond air ring diffuser but you’d definitely feel like a fish in a bait bucket. Maybe you could make your own with less holes since there’s a lot of diy YouTube guides on how to make those.

You can usually find copper pipes already bent into nearly a circle at the hardware store. My idea would be to use one one of them since you can then use premade fittings to attach a hose.
Instead of making a perfect ring out of copper you could always make a nearly closed ring with one side attached to the hose and the other side just blocked off. I think that’d be easier

Hah, this reminds me of when I had to write repair manuals in college. I’d get so fixated on a particular tool, like a toothpick. I’d start by saying, “I’m definitely going to need this toothpick.”
by the end I probably didn’t even need it, but I included it anyway.

I was following along quite nicely until step 9, where you bank-shot the needle off Mars and simultaneously looped it under the button.
- Comment on $80 for Borderlands 4 too costly? Randy Pitchford says, "If you're a real fan, you'll find a way to make it happen" 5 weeks ago:
I’m a Loot Goblin that spacebars through the story too, but Borderlands hasn’t been able to scratch that itch in a long time.
The last one I played was Tina’s Wonderland and everything about it was a slog. I didn’t care about any of the loot or any of the fights and I definitely didn’t care about the story.

Driving a manual is easy if you already know how to drive. I got my lesson from a dude who sold me my first manual. You’ll fuck up a bit but you won’t break anything.
Take the automatic if you’re worried and just enjoy your vacation

I love the jank message summaries
I got one the other day that summarized a message from my 75 year old mom as a conspiracy theory. I can’t imagine having the confidence to mark a clients message as a conspiracy theory even if it 100% was.
Here’s the summary:
Conspiracy theory about government agencies being privatized for profit.
Original text:
They would turned it into a private owned so they can profit from it. That’s why they changing all the government agencies and turn it into profitable businesses for them. See how all the big corporations are lined up with trump.

My issues with 7D2D are countless but the shitty terrain isn’t one of them. I love the way you’re able to destroy and shape the obviously polygon terrain in that game.
It doesn’t look great while you’re doing it but it doesn’t take anything away from the experience.
