Yeah, that makes sense. I get it, I just despise it, lol.

Would be nice to be able to read the article. This hiding shit behind an account just guarantees I’ll never read it on your site.

I think that’s a great point. That seems to be what the other person who replied to me is saying. Immersion is #1, changing my relationship to language and the voice in my head, so to speak.

I’ll check it out. Thanks!

I’ve tried no less than 4 times to learn Spanish. High school, twice out of school, and then uni. It’s just not getting through. I’m a communications graduate, so it’s not like language isn’t one of my strong points… Just doesn’t seem to carry over to any other language.

That screen looks incredible. I’d love to have something like this, I just can’t really justify it to myself. My phone already will play pretty much anything I want to emulate, the only hassle is needing to lug a controller around (one day I’ll buy one of those backbone controllers or something).
Still, as a lover of tech and games, this kind of product speaks to me. I just WANT it. I don’t need it.

For me, it isn’t that it doesn’t work, it works fine enough most of the time. It’s that it’s so heavy! My work PC is just an office special and it can chug with all the bloat from the office suite. Especially Outlook. God I hate Outlook.

In addition to the other commenter mentioning “Do Not Recommend”, there is an extension called BlockTube that is pretty handy.

If I had known I could make a living just telling blatant falsehoods in an angry way, my life might have turned out a lot differently.
I do enjoy being able to sleep at night, though. So maybe it all worked out for the best.

DEI, otherwise known as hiring the right person for the job, regardless of label. It’s wild that meritorious hiring principles aren’t the norm in this country. Have to find out what you are before who you are matters.

I’m still so mad about this. I have a save with over 350 hours in. It’s the only souls game I’ve ever played because I thought it was awesome.
I sat it down and waited on the DLC, which I bought. I went to go play it and realized that one of the updates corrupted my save.
I don’t have the heart to play through it again. I just can’t. I’ll never play that DLC I spent $40 on.

Good. Imagine the relative utopia we might live in if other states were as proactive about protecting the rights of their citizens.
I want digital privacy laws, right-to-repair, and the million other advocacy-driven things Cali has. It’ll never happen in a million years, but I can still want them.
I can’t wait to leave my shit-hole state and move West.

For what it’s worth, I kinda agree. Maybe I’ve changed but I feel like their content over the last year or two is nowhere near as good as it was.
Maybe I’ve just had a change in taste, though.

That’s awesome! Which ending did you choose? Also, I highly highly highly recommend doing the gigs. They fill out the world in amazing ways and aren’t just cheap filler. They really give flavor to the bigger jobs and the characters involved.

The EA Sports BIG titles are stupid fun. Highly recommend SSX Tricky, NBA Street Vol. 2, and NFL Street 2.
MX vs ATV Unleased is a classic. Great racing game.
ATV Offroad Fury 2 is fantastic, but hard to emulate.
I’m sure I’ll think of more, but those are great off the top of my head.

Just look what they’re doing with their Xbox brand. One of the most well established brands in the most profitable entertainment sector and they are literally setting fire to it in every conceivable direction.
Microsoft must be taking business cues from GRRM… Kill all your main characters.

Probably my favorite game and game world of all time. Though, to be honest, I’m having difficulty in relating it to Skyrim. Then again, I was never big into Skyrim. I always got bored half way through the game and never finished it. Probably just a setting thing. I really like sci-fi and less into fantasy.
Did you get Phantom Liberty? If not, I highly recommend it. It’s ridiculously good. I’m on my 5th or 6th playthrough and still finding new things and details I missed previously. The world is ridiculously dense.
