There is sadistic satisfaction to be had from absolutely nuking enemies who gave you trouble before.
I also like collecting shiny things.

Yeah I know, weird people those neighbours.
- Comment on How Hackers Are Fighting Back Against ICE 2 weeks ago:
This ads more nuance, “How hackers are fighting back against ICE” is a bit broad. Which is fine for a title but doesn’t tell us much.
- Comment on How Hackers Are Fighting Back Against ICE 2 weeks ago:
I agree, that’s why I added the last part. Still very brief, but it does the job.
- Comment on How Hackers Are Fighting Back Against ICE 2 weeks ago:
TL;DR From the article:
But a few enterprising hackers have started projects to do counter surveillance against ICE, and hopefully protect their communities through clever use of technology.
Further on the article goes in dept in what ways the ICE is monitoring communities and possible ways to counteract it.
- Comment on Someone, I'm thinking with multiple accounts, is downvoting EVERY comment I make. Mildly aggravating, mostly sad for someone like that. Can I find out who and just block them? 2 weeks ago:
Most of these look more like mods power tripping because he said something they didn’t like than anything.
- Comment on always watching 2 weeks ago:
That sounds real great, till you reach the parts where god will viciously punish you, your family and anyone in the vicinity just because you didn’t do what he told you to do.
If even half the shit in the old testament is true, I would rather have god as an absent father(or ideally nowhere close) then whatever the fuck he was going for.

Let’s just agree to disagree, I personally don’t like to be reliant on external sources when there is no good reason to not post the article directly.
- Comment on Last Year on My Mac: Look back in disbelief – The Eclectic Light Company 4 weeks ago:
Who’s talking about AI? And there is no article, not even a summary. It’s just a link dump.
- Comment on Last Year on My Mac: Look back in disbelief – The Eclectic Light Company 4 weeks ago:
Ah thanks again, now this would have been handy to include inside the body of the post to begin with.

Ah thanks, so a slop article that barely belongs in the community here. Got it.

Meaning that the only thing that changed is that it is “AI” and that they can cram out more bullshit in less time.

And now they moved to another crappy engine ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ what changed? Nothing much, except that they are locked in with Google’s bs.

I mean the choice between only two browser engines isn’t what I would call “free” though, especially since Firefox is also pulling more and more bullshit.

Nah kidding I get your point, although we could argue that there is merit in doing something a certain way because everyone is doing it that way.

There should be a version of newpipe that also has sponsorblock, not fully sure though.
The collapsing thing is weird tho, oh well good to see you got newpipe working cuz that’s the thing I myself couldn’t get too work when I tried it a couple of months ago haha.

Try patching with the latest build, that’s what normally works for me.

Imagine reading/watching The Lord of the Rings and interpreting it as a tragic tale in which the noble protagonist is defeated at the end.
Well that’s basically what happened though, an enlightened leader who brought prosperity and fulfilling work to the masses got brutally cut down multiple times.
But did that stop him? No! he just keeps on coming back, because he had a dream! A dream that got brutally squashed by terrorists and a despot who had an excellent PR Division, spinning their revisionist history propaganda to the gullible masses.

Technically those don’t design countries either. They just tell people where what is allowed to be build.
Actually, we are kinda looping back to architects do design countries. Puzzle piece by puzzle piece.

Yeah that 1.3 patch looks good, finally some long awaited fixes and quality of life changes.
Bringing it out at the same time as the sea expansion is a bit of a faux pass, but oh well.
