Didn’t they just replace it with Google TV at 3x the price?

What part? The fact that they no longer will be providing Pixel-specific source code?
Who else has been providing the literal OS source code for their devices?
I’m talking about the conspiracy where Google is monitoring your every move, reading all your encrypted messages, and providing backdoors to government entities.

What exactly is insecure about running GrapheneOS?
Or even stock OS on a Pixel? Has any of the conspiracies about Google Play Services ever been proven?
- Comment on Plex’s crackdown on free remote streaming access starts this week - Ars Technica 1 week ago:
Depends on the TV. They have an official app on Android TVs, but I still happily use Chromecast for everything

Correct. Written as pwned, pronounced “owned”
- Comment on pwned: do you pronounce it as "pohned" "pawned" or "owned" 3 weeks ago:
Shameful to not link the original series, but I fully agree, it’s definitely pronounced “ownage”, and anyone who says otherwise is a massive noob

Fun fact: pigs are very bad at cooling themselves, which is why they love to get in water or mud on hot days, so actually…
pigs are hot
- Comment on Google will block sideloading of unverified Android apps starting next year 3 months ago:
They are very different.
GrapheneOS’ whole thing is security and privacy. It’s big on sandboxing apps and browser sessions. Google Play and most Android features are opt-in (Google Play Services are also sandboxed). Just check their features.
LineageOS doesn’t have most of the above. It’s mostly just a regular barebones Android distribution without all the vendor bloat, and a great alternative if you just want more control and less BS (if you’ve used a Samsung device you will know what I mean - absolutely horrible distribution imo).

Personally I always care about farting

You can always use hardware cheats. You can use a second device to read memory and video feed, then pass back ESP information directly onto the monitor, or even control inputs.
I wouldn’t be surprised if such devices are already available for mainstream consumers. Kernel-level anticheat is a joke.
- Comment on Begun the kernel wars have 3 months ago:
Bad Company 2 and BF3 were great too :(
Haven’t played any since, and definitely won’t defile my kernel with these new rootkit requirements.

Frieren. It’s a very relaxing and pretty fun high fantasy adventure with magic and demons and stuff. Considered anime of the year by many

Back when I switched to Linux, Nvidia worked much better than AMD cards, but everyone hates them for not providing open source drivers, understandably
- Comment on 'End of 10' to Windows 10 Users: The Environment Wants You to Use Linux 6 months ago:
In my experience, Nvidia drivers work just fine. They’re just proprietary, and once in a while they release a faulty driver (which you can just roll back ofc). Happened to me a couple of times over the past… 14 years, fuck

- Comment on Microsoft's many Outlooks are confusing users and employees 8 months ago:
For some reason our business policy doesn’t allow us to use the web versions…
Ubuntu is very popular in businesses cus it’s Debian but with official enterprise support (I strongly dislike both though).
Luckily all my work is in WSL2 Arch terminal with tmux, so it’s bearable, but I miss my rice setup so much!
- Comment on Microsoft's many Outlooks are confusing users and employees 8 months ago:
Yes! I’m so close to being able to switch the office PC to Linux. I only really use Outlook and Teams, everything else is in a terminal.
Now to convince Security that I don’t need their intrusive logging and scanning crap…
- Comment on Plex is locking remote streaming behind a subscription in April 8 months ago:
I almost exclusively used both through Android with Chromecast, and I must say, I’ve had way more trouble with Emby than Plex.
Also on smart TVs, the Plex apps just have way fewer issues in my experience.
