I just looked. The newest Nissan Leaf is $29,990 with a 300 mile range. That’s not too bad compared to the more popular Toyota rav4 @ $ 31,900. Its way better than I thought. I hear you on the plug issue but if you can make it work EVs are the way to go.

A ray of hope: Oil being expensive makes solar more attractive. Having an EV and home solar insulated my family against the daily hike in the price of a gallon of gas.

They also perform better in the cold making them a better choice for EVs in cold regions. This is why I think CATL saw the videos of cars getting killed by cold and pulled the trigger on retooling even with the lithium price crash.

Can you define what sustainability looks like? One farmer has never been able to produce more. Maybe a country makes less widgets, but I don’t all the doom and gloom when taking care of the basics has never been more attainable for all.

They sell a really nice peanut butter snack at Costco, I loved it, until I saw made in Israel; I will not be buying it any time soon.

Your mixing commercial farming with enjoyment selective breeding. The 3k lbs pumpkin is only grown in a couple of plants. Anything growing too slow is removed ASAP and put in a compost pile. Its just a fun way to enjoy the growing season in the middle of bum fuck no where.
