- Comment on Ubisoft says you "cannot complain" it shut down The Crew because you never actually owned it, and you weren't "deceived" by the lack of an offline version 3 days ago:
If they don’t sell the game but a long term rental license, then they should not say “we’ve sold 1234557890 copies of <game>”.

- Comment on Other than a faulty charging port, is there any reason to use a wireless phone charger over wired? 2 weeks ago:
Mainly it is convenience of not having to lug a cable and I have a bit of fear of breaking the interior of the usb-c, it feels fragile to me.
I have an iPhone with MagSafe, so I can use it while charging.
Using a charging pad without MagSafe and cannot use the phone while charging can also be a plus for some people, it forces you to not being constantly on the phone.
- Comment on Multilingual people all must have experienced YouTube's f**kery with auto translation. Still no workaround? 3 weeks ago:
Since I watch little to none content on my language (Spanish) so I changed the YouTube app language settings for the interface to English.
However sometimes it still fuck the captions, like setting them on German if the video is in English, or on Thai/Hindi/Japanese when is it in Korean.
- Comment on What is everyone's favoured domain name provider these days? 3 weeks ago:
I had a blog on my RPi and bought a domain on Namecheap. Years later the project died and cancel the renovation of the domain.
Many months after, I self hosted some services and wanted to use the domain again. I tried to purchase it but Namecheap kept it as “security against losing the domain” but to recover it I was asked to pay much more that I paid before when using the service.
Came with another name and bought it from cloudflare instead.
- Comment on When people in constitutional monarchies pledge loyalty to the monarch, is it actually for real, or just symbolic / a pro-forma thing? 5 weeks ago:
I don’t know in naturalization cases, but in Spain members of the parliament who are from independentist parties (which basically want to go against the constitution and obviously don’t give a shit about the King) preceed their oath with the phrases “by legal imperative”.
Every time it happens some parties claim that it’s not valid but AFAIK there has been no ruling in favor/against it.
Members of the government make their pledge at the palace in front of the king and I have no memory of anybody using that phrase, I quickly looked for pledges made by republican politicians and they pledge loyalty to the king as well.
- Comment on HELP! How do I help educate my son about his body when I know nothing about boys?? 1 month ago:
Porn is fine, but it’s fiction. It’s no more real or realistic than the latest superhero blockbuster, and should be thought of that way. It’s entertainment, not education.
This, meanwhile on one hand it teached me how to pleasure a woman orally, on the other it created impossible expectations on other areas.
I learned properly about the g-spot and how to massage it with my fingers through a TV program about sex that did at nights.

- Comment on Preview: The Cerritos Crew Starts A New Comic Book Adventure In First Issue Of ‘Star Trek: Lower Decks’ 4 months ago:
Star Trek: Lower Decks #1 arrives on November 13. You can order issue 1 or upcoming issues at TFAW. Or pick up individual digital editions at Amazon/comiXology.
Thanks to Amazon after buying vomiXology, their aggressive geoblocking and monopolistic position there’s almost no legal way to read digital comics in their original version from USA in my country.
And importing physical editions is off the table, I did in the past and it doubles the price and almost never arrive in perfect conditions.
