- Comment on DOOM: The Dark Ages Has Reportedly Sold Less Than 1 Million Copies 2 days ago:
I just barely convinced myself to spend €80 on a single game, then noticed Denuvo. Hard pass
- Comment on Bungie confirms it stole art once again, will undertake a 'thorough review' of Marathon assets 1 week ago:
Decent bait. Three bites, not bad.
The solution, for anyone else wondering, is derived by simplification. “If theft is bad, why is the alternative, theft again, also bad?” It’s a nonsense statement made by a moron.
- Comment on ‘Doom: The Dark Ages’ DRM Is Locking Out Linux Users Who Bought the Game 1 week ago:
it won’t be cracked, you have to hope the devs leak the drm-free version
- Comment on “No Apple tax means we will lower prices” - Proton announces lower prices for users by up to 30% after US ruling against Apple fees 2 weeks ago:
Your gullibility makes you easy to control. Proton never supported Trump, and not every fact is spread by russian bots

Who told you Proton supports Trump??? Your flimsy grasp on reality makes you easy to control
- Comment on Google accidentally reveals details about its new Android design language, Material 3 Expressive 3 weeks ago:
I honestly can’t think of a single Google product from the last decade that wasn’t “accidentally“ “leaked” before announcement

It’s true, Excel specifically is head and shoulders above anything excel-like.

You must not have adguard set up properly (maybe some of your blocklists are disabled or unupdated?).
No ads or popups on my end
- Comment on LibreOffice: We still see people on the fediverse recommending OpenOffice, despite it having year-old unfixed security issues 3 weeks ago:
I don’t know what LibreOffice was like when y’all formed your opinions on it 20 years ago, but right now it’s pretty much perfect

- Comment on Why hasn't congress passed a law saying that you can only deport people *back to their own country*? 5 weeks ago:
I mean, ignoring the law is this administration’s whole thing, so it wouldn’t matter. Also, as we’ve seen in the UK as well as the US, many targetted individuals have never even been to “their own country”.

Not directly related, but are they ever going to hire somebody to wipe the cum stain off of the app icon??
- Comment on HELP! Im looking for a game like CIV 6 where the point is to go to war 1 month ago:
I don’t understand. You want a game where you can go to war with countries that won’t declare war on you?
- Comment on Am I going crazy, or has people's spelling gotten awful lately? 1 month ago:
It’s the opposite. People learning English as a second language are typically much better spellers. Only a native speaker would misspell extreme that way

I didn’t say you can’t play them, just that you don’t own them. This is still true with DRM free games. You don’t own any house without a locked front door
- Comment on Ubisoft says you "cannot complain" it shut down The Crew because you never actually owned it, and you weren't "deceived" by the lack of an offline version 1 month ago:
You’re correct, and this goes for ALL steam games
- Comment on "It's Silencing" - Albania Shuts Down TikTok. 1 month ago:
Influencers make money from the platform and in most peoples’ capitalism-riddled brain, “the government is ripping up your paycheck” is more alarming than “the government is silencing its people”.
- Comment on Quantum mechanics might have the solution to joystick drift 1 month ago:
I’m disagreeing. It’s really that simple. 60mil fewer dollars from 1 billion in revenue over 8 years (these are your numbers) is still “just a few cents”
- Comment on Are most people here left-wing? 1 month ago:
The American “left” is on the far-right of almost every other country in the world. Not right, not even center. You need recalibrating
