Again, making more money than ever is the definition of paying off
- Comment on Has Xbox Considered Laying One Person Off Instead Of Thousands 3 days ago:
Why? they have the most players AND money than they ever did in their existence. Stupid would be suggesting it was a bad idea
- Comment on ICEBlock climbs to the top of the App Store charts after officials slam it 3 days ago:

“You can’t activate the warranty without it” That’s illegal in most of the world
- Comment on Signal – an ethical replacement for WhatsApp 2 weeks ago:
That’s not even what it is lol.
And as the other commenter alluded to, defaults matter. You’re not replacing the thing everyone is already using by pitching “here’s an alternative that is better in ways which don’t affect your usage at all, and also you have to dig into the settings to turn off the optional daily popups”
- Comment on Signal – an ethical replacement for WhatsApp 2 weeks ago:
I like Signal. I even got all my close friends and family on it, specifically to message me because I won’t use whatsapp. The PIN reminders are annoying it enough to be legitimately holding it back from mass appeal imho
- Comment on Nexus Mods' new owners promise they won't monetise the site to death as users panic at the whiff of venture capital 2 weeks ago:
We all know how these things go, so I understand everybody’s fears but please wait to react until they make actual moves toward crossing the line. I remain optimistic about the site’s future, and the recent ways they handled user feedback as it has been changing in the last few years is evidence I should be
- Comment on A game you "didn't know it was bad 'til people told you so"? 3 weeks ago:
To be even more fair-er still, They didn’t fire everyone who worked on their best game in decades, they remain with Ubisoft just moved to separate projects. Still a shame, but you know, could always be

So no. I was hoping my question would prompt you to consider it

Do you even know why you’re saying that? Physical goods that need to be manufactured and delivered are literally exactly what you should be pre-ordering
- Comment on Google Play’s latest security change may break many Android apps for some power users. The Play Integrity API uses hardware-backed signals that are trickier for rooted devices and custom ROMs to pass. 5 weeks ago:
This has nothing to do with FOSS, of which plenty exist on iOS

I just barely convinced myself to spend €80 on a single game, then noticed Denuvo. Hard pass
- Comment on Bungie confirms it stole art once again, will undertake a 'thorough review' of Marathon assets 1 month ago:
Decent bait. Three bites, not bad.
The solution, for anyone else wondering, is derived by simplification. “If theft is bad, why is the alternative, theft again, also bad?” It’s a nonsense statement made by a moron.
