I’m sure there will be some sort of compatibility layer available. Android Linux based after all.

tbh part of the rough experience for me may be down to the hardware. the ubports version of the pinephone i have is quite low power. 2GB memory and a little ARM Cortex-A53

dug my pinephone out of a drawer yesterday and gave it a whirl. still pretty rough unfortunately even after updating postmarket os.
Cool being able to SSH into my phone though

I have the ubuntu 25 concept installed on my snapdragon HP Omnibook 14
Other than a few software hiccups you would expect of a “concept build” it works almost perfectly and is now my daily driver. Actually getting the OS on the machine was pretty easy too, it has something akin to a bios. the process isn’t all that different

No one is saying that kids should be able to access pornography. People are saying that it shouldn’t be the states job to raise your children for you.
Effectively blocking pornography for everyone in the country unless you dox yourself to shady websites is not the answer. The answer is developing the tools and simplifying processes required to stop children accessing these things on the device and local network level and putting those tools in the hands of parents.
The Great Firewall of Britain is a frankly stupid concept.

at the moment no one is going into that level of granularity. I do own some monero, if i feel the need in the future i may switch over to that completely or at least start purchasing bitcoin anonymously which is something else a VPN can help with.

You use Tor to pop out in south america where you use bitcoin or some other crypto to purchase access to a good vpn.
Then download TBs of porn through your shiny new vpn subscription rather than bogging down the onion network

idk, its not like it took any more time that it otherwise would have. The chashier wasn’t in any way inconvenienced or stopped from doing her job. It’s pretty harmless, akin to telling a joke to the chashier at the till
Filming without permission in this specific scenario is kinda shitty though
