Along the same lines, A lot of times I’ll think of saying/doing something but then end up second guessing myself so much that I have to look it up just to confirm I’m not wrong. Then I feel even more stupid for not believing myself the first time.
- Comment on Merz says Kyiv's key allies no longer limit range of weapons 1 month ago:
That’s really good news. Can you imagine having to fight someone who’s breaking into your house to kill your family with one arm tied behind your back? That’s basically what Ukraine had to do for the last THREE FUCKING YEARS!!! And they still stood their ground!
We should all strive to be as brave and strong as those men and women protecting their loved ones from that cancerous bullshit putin is spreading across the globe.

Yup, I feel terrible for that kid getting dragged along because of her bullshit. I hope the kid is smarter than her and can escape the day he turns 18.

What a terrible parent. She enabled her 14 yr old kid by letting him use her old laptop with unfettered internet access, but somehow it’s THEIR fault she couldn’t be bothered to keep tabs on the kid?
I guess she’d be the type to also sue the forestry industry if she ever got a paper cut, or sue a tree because she drove into it.

The guys at the top, or the common rube? The ones at the top are just there to steal everything that isn’t nailed down, the rest are so full of disinformation and bullshit that they couldn’t tell you the time of day without Fox news telling them first.
Worst part is many of them would rather go down with the ship than admit that they got fucked by a girly man in orange makeup wearing a diaper.

- Comment on US citizen says he was detained returning from Canada 2 months ago:
I mean, it’s not 100% his fault that he fell for bad propaganda and bullshit… but it is still partially that he couldn’t be bothered to look any deeper into the lies the right wing machine has been constantly feeding him.
We have the same issues in Canada, with the conservatives paying millions of dollars to third parties such as Canada Proud to spread bullshit on their behalf and to divide us. We need to curbstomp this bullshit as hard as we can.

Same. I can’t recall any of my doctors ever measuring my height. The police and RCMP tho both kept pretty good records of my teenage growth years.
- Comment on How exactly are people lighting Teslas on fire? 3 months ago:
Fresnel lenses (like the kind you can tear out of old projection tv’s) work great for that, but they’re kind of a pain and bulky, and very impractical. I have one I took out of an old 55" projection tv. I think charcoal firestarters by a tire works better and can be “deployed” in seconds, but concentrated light is still pretty cool.
- Comment on How exactly are people lighting Teslas on fire? 3 months ago:
Good point. I didn’t think to add that because I rarely carry my tracking devices with me.
- Comment on How exactly are people lighting Teslas on fire? 3 months ago:
Filming only helps so much though. Cover your face and anything identifying, wear clothes from a thrift store, put a pebble in your shoe (to force you to walk differently) etc, and it’s pretty hard to link you to anything without some solid evidence.
- Comment on How exactly are people lighting Teslas on fire? 3 months ago:
Accelerants and or/ firestarters placed near the tires. Once you get the rubber burning the rest kind of takes care of itself.

Yup pretty much. When I’m working and doing a lot I eat like a horse, but days I don’t do much I don’t eat much either. And I haven’t gained weight in over 30 years despite people telling me otherwise. (Well, a little but mostly muscle mass… I was 165 at 16 and in my 50’s I’m 180 now with the same 31" waist.)
