- Comment on If you have a sibling that's hogging all the wifi bandwidth, what do you do about it without leading ot a confrontation? 1 week ago:
I don’t know about cherries, but there’s a little bit of cyanide in apple seeds. You’d need a lot of apple seeds to get a lethal dosage of cyanide though.
- Comment on If you have a sibling that's hogging all the wifi bandwidth, what do you do about it without leading ot a confrontation? 1 week ago:
That’ll do it. Your ISP isn’t going to give you a decent router, but they’ll probably charge you like it’s a world-class one.
- Comment on Switch 2 demand appears to be flagging as Nintendo reportedly lowers production 2 weeks ago:
Switch 2 has several games that would’ve pushed me to buy it. Mario Kart World, DK Bonanza and Pokopia all look like I’d enjoy them a lot. I just can’t afford it.
- Comment on 2 weeks ago:
Seems like none of those apply here though. These two didn’t even know they were brothers until they were already together romantically.
- Comment on What's the weirdest argument you've gotten into with someone? 2 weeks ago:
An action can benefit you in one way and still require self sacrifice. I would add that the action must benefit more than just yourself in order to qualify as heroic though.

My work schedule this week. It is truly monstrous.

It feels kinda strange to call them Mexican farmers. Like referring to the people who lived where the US is 9000 years ago “American Farmers”.
Like I guess that’s technically correct in a way. But it still feels weird.

You should really stop acting like a country is some monolithic thing where everyone thinks and behaves the same. That’s not how it works anywhere. C’mon big dog, a little nuance isn’t going to hurt you.

That might’ve been the intention, but the text of the meme targets the barista, not their boss or the system itself.
- Comment on Employa destroya 🫵😫 1 month ago:
Ahh yes. The barista that personally selected and programmed their store’s POS system.
Dog they just work there.

Leaves me wondering if this indicates some kind of biochemical/neurological difference, or just like sociological differences. Like are women processing vision differently from men, or is this happening just because women are more worried about getting attacked.

Not to mention, LLMs are very resource intensive to run. They slurp up obscene amounts of electricity and water. That’s kind of a problem for a planet that’s already getting boiled.
- Comment on Let's take a moment to remember the time period when everyone had to adjust to using dual-joysticks on controllers. 1 month ago:
Yeah. I spent an ungodly amount of time on halo 3 and ODST on the 360 back in the day. Then I eventually got a PC and in just a couple years trying to play a shooter with a controller gave the game feel equivalent of nails on a chalkboard.
- Comment on Start-up idea 1 month ago:
Sure, but such a start up could pick and choose the good ones, making small alterations when called for.
- Comment on Homeland Security Spying on Reddit Users 1 month ago:
Yeah, but the website owners have access to a lot more information than is just available publicly. You probably could be identified by a fed if reddit gave them that information.
You might not be worth the effort, especially since most other people would probably be less effort to track down. But that doesn’t mean it isn’t possible.
- Comment on lightbulbs 2 months ago:
Could you find adjustable LED bulbs? Those are honestly the best of both worlds. Daylight is great for things like cleaning, but I much prefer warm light for general living.

No, that was pretty clear. The problem was you were also conflating Israel with a religion (presumably Judaism.)
- Comment on What a great idea 2 months ago:
A team from corporate designs the general layout, and the layout of most of the shelves, sometimes with help from an outside firm. Occasionally there will be specific shelves or event spaces that don’t have a planogram will be laid out by someone in-store, but this is usually a pretty small percentage of the store.
- Comment on What a great idea 2 months ago:
The people stocking the shelves aren’t the ones designing the store layout, dummy.

I can’t cum unless I have six different wheelchair users jerking me off and fingering my various holes. Still not accessible.
- Comment on Hostile architecture 2 months ago:
I mean. Even in our existing, shit-ass, crazy-pants society we don’t really need this shit.

I guarantee you, the manager of a fastfood restaurant is not a part of the bourgeoisie, and doesn’t want to be there any more than the other employees.
