I had a Samsung phone (A20E) which was by some margin the most terrible piece of technology I’ve ever used. Barely functional a couple weeks from buying. This is anecdotal, of course, but since those are mass-produced and supposedly identical from unit to unit…

The big one or the small one ? I’d rather be the small one tonight if you don’t mind

- Comment on Microsoft is killing OneNote for Windows 10 1 week ago:
I am trying it out given all the praise.
- I can’t create more than 5 (!) tags in the free version
- it can’t export notes in anything else than borked text files in the free version (formatting lost, no markdown, no pdf, no html)
- it doesn’t let me choose where I store my notebooks, in fact does not tell me where it saves them at all
- the importer/converter is on the web, and requires me to upload all my plain text MD files for conversion
I use QOwnNotes on the daily, which does not have any such limitations. On the other hand, it’s a markdown editor, which means your monitor space is divided by two : it has separate editing & preview panes, and it’s honestly a bummer because apart from that it’s pretty much perfect

It’s always weird hearing for the first time about a game that’s been super popular overseas for 28 years.
Would love to try Naheulbeuk (many youth memories of the audio adventure) but reluctant to install yet another app/launcher, especially from Amazon (some people are trying to get a boycott going since yesterday). The first game was really cool apparently

That must have been a while ago, I assume trucks got auto transmissions before consumer cars ?

Starting on a slope isn’t particularly hard, use the handbrake
- Comment on You guys have to end it 4 weeks ago:
Wife owns an automatic, it’s fantastic for when you’re stuck in traffic, but GOD does it make shitty decisions. Of course it cannot anticipate whether or not you’re going to be climbing a slope, so it goes up a gear, but then it has to immediately go back down a gear, but you lost all speed already and it’s raining and you can’t pick up traction again so you slide back down the slope and try again. It’s also only really effective for the most tranquil driving, and it has a huuuuuuge inertia when accelerating, like a good half second of not obeying your pedaling, which is 1.frustrating and 2.dangerous in situations where you have to get out of the way urgently. So, would only recommend for old people or people frequently stuck in traffic. The technology has ways to go still

Alright I didn’t know that. Not a great loss then ? From what I read it seems this one has an additional set of bumpers, in addition to the paddles. Maybe those are their own buttons
