      Yep never been there but everytime I hear about France it’s either riot or a protest.

    Protesting is indeed a social activity/gathering a bit like a sports event, you know it’s going to be a fine sunday if a big protest is planned and your mates are going. My friends’ kid (~4yo) is all giddy when she’s told it’s protest day, as if you just told her we’re going to the beach
