Forgoing the convinience isn’t easy, even gotta look at the purchase and decide if it’ll be used frequently or just a use and throw

Yep, wanted to comment to inform someone, but resisted the other day and now I’m glad I did.

Yeah true, I wanna be sure how the person reacted instead of guessing and letting my anxiety go wild.
I don’t even like client calls if they switch off the video but at that point we should be able to manage & make global collaborations possible.
Tldr Not wanting to meet people is a downward spiral.

I agree with you, they shouldn’t be shamed.
But it’s important for people to understand this is a symptom of deeper rooted issue instead of trying to normalize it. That’ll put undue stress on future generations who won’t understand why this is the norm.

Another decade and we’ll be back inside libraries, let’s stock up on epubs while we still have internet browsing.

And what they say about being commercially viable is true, they can’t die on this hill. It means death of complete privacy either way.

As a product designer who sometimes does gamification, I love that term and my clients are gonna hear a lot more funny money

More federation is good, but lemmy had a defederation fiasco when everyone was paying attention.
People have enough of that IRL and want a truly global community.

You can use postimg or imgur to host images. Don’t depend on the small instance servers
- Comment on 1 ep per week goes brrrrrrrrrr! 8 months ago:
I prefer watching older anime or read the manga if it’s being adapted. Waiting a month for each episode is painful.
Attack of titans made me wait a month for each installment though. I remember zooming in and appreciating the detailed art (not the best) to spend more time with each edition.

Yep they can, but on the other hand they can’t downvote the meaningful ones either. Basically it’s not perfect but better than reddit
- Comment on [deleted] 8 months ago:
The manipulative tricks only work one way, you can’t downvote ideas you don’t like. So the only thing we can see is excessive support for a genocide joe
