I feel like crowdfunding ads to broaden the Fediverse’s reach is a strategy that would actually work great for Pixelfed, Peertube, and Funkwhale since they’re content focused. But for the forum and microblog like Fedi platforms such as Lemmy it doesn’t really make sense they’re more people focused.
Reddit didn’t need to run ads to get to it’s size, the network effect did that for it.

For those not on Bluesky, Adobe got bullied so hard by basically every artist the site from this post that they straight up left. They were ratio’d out of existence. It’s hilarious.

Looks pretty different from any game we’ve seen yet. I guess they made it that way since mk8 is already compatible with the new console, so it needs to be something other than “yet another Mario Kart” to not be overshadowed by 8.
Maybe I’ll pick it up in a couple years, but there’s still more than enough games I haven’t played on the Switch 1 for the steep price of the Switch 2 to be justified for me personally.
