It might do. But I won’t test it. I would have to start Windows 11.

This is a huge threat to democracy. Not only in the US and UK, but also to Europe and the rest of the world.

Bluetooth -> infotainment system -> CANBUS -> Lane Assist or adaptive steering
Die infotainment system should not have this permission, but it does.
The loophole is the connected smartphone from the driver. An attacker could deauthenticate it and mimic the car app.

That’s what our economy has become. Sad.

Install the latest update and hope for the best.
Or try disabling bluetooth.
Or try to get a car without autonomous parking.
Seems like there is no real option though.

You have all reason to be afraid of traveling with DB. Especially with the ICE. However, this is unrelated to the american ICE.

Then, how do we benefit from SpaceX? I’m not bashing the NASA, but I see no point in all the waste SpaceX is producing, down on earth and its orbit. These satelites are likely to crash one day in a chain reaction.

Who needs this bs space program anyway?
- Comment on Thousands of Asus routers are being hit with stealthy, persistent backdoors 2 months ago:
Yes, except if they alter the factory image. In this case a new factory image has to be flashed before factory reset.
I haven’t tried on my ASUS router, yet. But there might be a serial port in one of the RJ45 sockets, as on my old netgear. Plug in your PC there and run the manufacturer’s flash utility.
This trick worked for me when a normal factory reset didn’t help getting back acces to the WebUI.

- Comment on 3D printers leave hidden ‘fingerprints’ that reveal part origins 2 months ago:
On my printers, each print looks differently. The prints sometimes also fail for various reasons. Add a constant process of modifications and I doubt someone can find enough unique features on the prints, to recognise the correct printer.
- Comment on Autonomes Fahren: Lidar kann Smartphone-Kameras schwer beschädigen 2 months ago:
Exactly. That’s what I mean by their wording being off a little.
- Comment on Autonomes Fahren: Lidar kann Smartphone-Kameras schwer beschädigen 2 months ago:
Betroffen war nur das Teleobjektiv, da das Bild nach dem Herauszoomen auf ein anderes Objektiv wieder normal angezeigt wurde.
The switching is noted in the text. However, the wording is a little off since they refer to the lenses and not the camera sensors behind.

My granpa once assigned a master electrician to make an extension cord after he accidently cut the cable of his hedge trimmer. The electrician built him a male2male cord with the female part on the machine. My granpa almost got electrocuted. 🤦♂️
- Comment on Trump says a 25% tariff "must be paid by Apple" on iPhones not made in the US, says he told Tim Cook long ago that iPhones sold in the US must be made in the US 2 months ago:
That’s all true. But how do you feel for buying an already overpriced product, made by a greedy company which acts against software developers (by prohibidding selling their software on other market places and dictating prices), the environment, and the customer (repairability, compatibility and more restrictions) and the state (tax evasion)? I think Apple should get what they deserve.

And so Apple’s breakdown begins. Trump smashing their overrated market position in the US. It’s the first time I would support his BS decisions.
- Comment on New Cars Don't All Come With Dipsticks Anymore, Here's Why 2 months ago:
This sounds like an old Mercedes problem: Why even having a dipstick when there isn’t any drain bolt? The Mechanic sucks all the oil from the top using a vacuum. Grime buildup down in the oil pan? Ain’t care! The car will break anyway, once it’s out of warranty.
