I had a t61p that suffered from it. Unfortunately I came to the same conclusion that it wasn’t worth fixing. It’s too bad since that was one of the last really good thinkpads.

Probably the faulty nvidia die substrate issue. I’m amazed it lasted this long, most of those chips died long ago.

I’m not kink shaming, but do you have a humiliation fetish? Everywhere you comment you get dragged, and yet you are one of the most prolific commentators on this site.

- Comment on Why do people insist on not answering ALL the questions in an email or text message? 2 months ago:
I haven’t done it very often, but the few times I haven’t answered all off the questions in an email has been because some of the questions are a waste of time. I had an engineer recently ask me if I could move the location of where I was running a pipe through a floor grating. Changing the location would have changed nothing, made my job more difficult, and would have been a tripping hazard. All off this could have been avoided if they had gotten or from behind their desk and just gone and looked at what I was working on in person. I ignored their question and sent more pictures of the area. They finally said that I was good to proceed with my original plan.

See there’s the problem right there. They shouldn’t have sold the robot. It should have been a subscription model, with micro transactions. That would have kept the investors flocking in.
If like to say this is sarcasm, but unfortunately it’s the most likely lesson these ghouls will learn from this.

Breath of Fire 3. People find a dragon that had been dormant in a crystal for centuries. It wakes up later as a human child. That child travels the world trying to figure out who they are. And then you fight a god, or not it’s your choice.

Rooftop units might not be the least expressive, but they are absolutely the way to go. The less we rely on the utilities, the more demand we take off of their adding grid, that they refuse to upgrade. It also means more energy independence. A friend of mine has a small rooftop setup that has completely offset his electricity isn’t to the punt that he bought a plugin hybrid that never goes out battery for his day to day travels and costs him nothing to charge.
