Well, it shows the state of the country regarding protesting the war in Vietnam, Black Panthers and such, although we don’t get to hear what he says about the war at the National Mall before he spots her running out.

Those folks aren’t looking up “two adults having sex,” we’ve seen the contents of computers and it’s ALWAYS an R screaming about porn with 7 year olds in a folder on the desktop.

I’ve always heard it as turtle gear, mostly since lots of farm equipment has a turtle and rabbit as slow/fast.

It was supposed to be our shipyard to build bigger ships than we could lift to orbit, until the dick waving started. NASA had much much bigger plans than just walking around on the moon.

I actually just got back into it since I never finished the main quest line and it’s actually more fun to play now, big fixes and optimization for the series S/X made load screens instant and I’m blazing through stuff a lot faster.

I should clarify…Diablo is trying to do the same all heat no flavor but is not actually that spicy, and tastes bad to boot.

It’s like Da Bomb sauce on Hot Ones, it’s not even good they just try to make it burn except it’s not hot either

We had a 70s F-350 flatbed with no power steering for hauling stuff around the farm. Actually driving the truck was as much of a workout as loading the bed

Having hypothetically done similar things with work printers, there’s also a lesson to be learned about not using too much paper and ink in one go, space it out over a few restocks.

I think Soldier Boy is Cap, Homelander is capitalist American (whom the Nazis took a lot of inspiration from) Superman. In any case the satire is well and truly lost on the people it’s aimed at.

I bought a $15 cordless screwdriver for this exact reason and it’s great. No need to drag out the whole 18v drill but it makes fastening things much quicker and the built in torque limiter means I can cinch every bolt in a chair up to the same spec easily.
- Comment on Apple is reportedly getting ready to introduce ads to its Maps app 5 weeks ago:
I experienced the same glitches that everyone else did when it first launched but it’s been perfectly fine for years. My gf’s android Google Maps will routinely have us make several turns just to end up on the same road we were already traveling on so navigation is done on my phone and the playlist on hers.
- Comment on After police used Flock cameras to accuse a Denver woman of theft, she had to prove her own innocence 5 weeks ago:
Because she’s 6 months old and still learning to socialize, so people immediately turning and speeding away does not help. If people could suspend their judgement of someone as a threat long enough to recognize a puppy and let her say hello, then it’s completely fine but thank you for the training tips.

As the owner of a German shepherd who just REALLY wants to make friends and play with everyone she meets…it’s depressing how many people see a big cop dog and immediately walk away when she barks

As much as I hate calling LLMs “AI” and the recent surge in its use and production, why hasn’t any of these brilliant machines told their owners about nuclear power? We figured out how to rub spicy rocks together and generate power without the need to light anything on fire a long time ago.

Also had the VHS and watched it constantly. I drink a ton of water after living in the desert for years and still think of Kitana saying “use the element that brings life” occasionally while topping off my bottle. Said it to my gf once when she was poking fun at me for filling my bottle again so soon and she had no clue what I was talking about so that joke flew like a penguin

My push to start has an RFID slot for the key so even if the fob battery dies it still will recognize and start, push to start may be convenient but I’m more worried about adding additional wires between ignition switch and battery/starter. I absolutely do not want my vehicle connected to the internet, I want gas brake and steering, OTA updates are just a terrible idea

I worked for AAA during this program and literally every single weekend someone would take a car up into the mountains or down the coast and lose cell service…which would then brick the car and leave them stranded in the woods with a Prius they couldn’t even open to get inside. Add fires (thanks PG&E) and mudslides and it was a massive clusterfuck just getting a tow truck to them, which could take hours or days
