If this generation is finished, then it’s the previous generation’s doing. It’s not like kids and people just entering the workforce have enough financial or political power to actually affect anything.
Why be introspective when I can blame it all on Fortnite, trap music, and TikTok?

Hmm, maybe the quote wasn’t meant as an insult after all…

In most cases they really don’t. I try to keep that in mind and make my best effort as I push toward my 40s to remember that it’s not my world anymore and try to keep caught up on things.
It really bugs me seeing my dad, who used to stay on top of new tech and try to keep up with things, just give up and not even try to understand things anymore.
Adults just don’t remember what it was like to be teenagers when they get into their 30s and 40s.
Sure they do. It's called a midlife crisis.
While quoting ideological statement made 6 generations ago that the last generation actually helped popularize.
“This generation is finished” --previous generation understanding the powerful of the previous, previous generation caused climate change and the displacement and famine that go with that.
