- Comment on Back in my day... 1 week ago:This just unlocked a core memory of “prank me when you’re here.” As in, call me a hang up before I answer so it’s free because texting or answering the call would cost money.
- Comment on girl 1 week ago:But where my true neutral girls at?
- Comment on Anyone remember Heroes of Might & Magic 3? A remake is coming 3 weeks ago:So many incredible memories with that game! My friend and I used to play really long hot seat games culminating in a big battle at the end. So much fun.
- Comment on Best stay away from that guy 3 weeks ago:Borimir would have attracted every arrow
- Comment on It would have been really funny if a video game ejected the disk if you lost too many times 3 weeks ago:Sounds a bit like one of the scarecrow sequences in Batman Arkham Asylum where the game ‘crashes’
- Comment on Tell me why! 3 weeks ago:Bought it on eBay
- Comment on No more Mr. Nice guy 3 weeks ago:Yeah I’m better at advocating for my own needs and boundaries now but I wanted to point out that in some cases at least it’s just a maladaptive behaviour.
- Comment on No more Mr. Nice guy 3 weeks ago:I’m just trying to make sure they don’t hurt me.

- Comment on 5 weeks ago:I’ve decided to speedrun it. Last time it took 30 days, going to try and top that this year.
- Comment on Bulls On Parade 1 month ago:What we don’t know keeps the contracts alive and movin’
- Comment on Funerary Engineering 1 month ago:That’s where the phrase “saved by the bell” comes from isn’t it? Because they used to do this with a bell attached to a rope that the person could ring.
- Comment on Tin 1 month ago:shocked gasp
- Comment on Four wheels good, two wheels bad: why are there no exciting cycling games? 2 months ago:Now that is a name I have not heard in a long time.
- Comment on I love a good fractal 2 months ago:Oh boy, you’re going to regret that later.
- Comment on paz 2 months ago:Isn’t the fact that it’s uncommon what makes it extreme though? I could be wrong about that but I’m not sure how else you’d define what is extreme vs not.
- Comment on paz 2 months ago:That’s a good point. I guess things have gotten so bad I don’t consider those views to be held only by extremists anymore but maybe (and hopefully) I’m wrong about that.
- Comment on paz 2 months ago:I obviously can’t speak for everyone but my assumption is that there is such fundamental disagreement that for many, even saying “agree to disagree” with certain people would be a betrayal of their own values. Someone I know put it pretty well when talking about the idea of how accepting their workplace should be of people’s different political values. They said “If someone doesn’t think I should have human rights, I don’t want to work with them.” which I think makes the point pretty well. See also: paradox of tolerance.

- Comment on Caves of Qud wins the Hugo Award for Best Game or Interactive Work 2 months ago:Well deserved. Live and drink, friend.
- Comment on A secret is something you keep, whilst a surprise is something you give. 2 months ago:Also the intention behind a surprise is always to reveal the surprise otherwise what’s the point? A secret is something you hide without planning to reveal it generally.
- Comment on [deleted] 2 months ago:Things take time. The fact that he hasn’t gone to mars yet doesn’t prove that going to mars requires him to be a cunt.
- Comment on [deleted] 2 months ago:He has all the money. He can go to Mars without being a cunt if he wants.
- Comment on It must have been a whole lot more difficult to design and build tall buildings before computers existed 2 months ago:Not necessarily. Complex shapes yes, but simple shapes you don’t really need a computer model.
