  Diesel smells quite nice too.

  So does kero when you get a whiff of it when they’re refuelling a plane.

  I love the smell of 2 stroke, particularly with bean(castor) oil in the fuel mix. My ATC 250R runs a rich mix too.

  I’ve gotten a mouthful of it syphining it from one tank to another. Not only does it smell great, but it tastes better than most cheap liquors, and some expensive ones. ^don’t drink it though^

  Intellectually I know different kinds of warmth should be the exact same. Temperature is simply how fast the molecules are shaking and what heat source heated them shouldn’t influence anything. But the heat caused by gasoline feels different to me. That sunshine captured by million year old tree ferns and ancient algae broken down to oil over eons creates a warmth when burned that feels unlike anything else. But it must be all in my head, right?
