Wait, I thought Chang’e was an adult woman. Is there a different moon-rabbit-lady story I don’t know about?

Those don’t seem to address the little girl. Kaguya grows quickly but is nevertheless apparently an adult by the time she goes to the moon. And the moon rabbit just loops back to Chang 'e.

Is this a reference to a story, or plain surrealism?

Ye but did you originally watch the fox special thirty years ago live that the moon landing was fake?
MadMadBunny@lemmy.ca 4 months ago
Oh it wasn’t fake—they edited out the moon bunnies!

Lol, I’m from a Chinese background and I saw the rabbit and my mind immediately thought of the 嫦娥 thing.
