Nobody is"wrecking it". We may fiddle with the biosphere until we can’t thrive anymore, that much is true.
The planet and the life on it will continue until the sun expands in the far, far future.

- Comment on All Of Apple’s Foldable iPhone Prototypes Have Visible Creases, Which May Explain The Company’s Apprehension Towards A Launch 1 month ago:
German renowned institute “Stiftung Warentest” just tested two foldables (both Samsung I think) and had them 50.000 times folded and unfolded (they build machines to
torturetest stuff) and reported no creases.50.000 times is over four years for 32 uses every day (twice every wake hour). Would be more than sufficient for a normal user think.
- Comment on What can be the reasons for self-sabotaging behaviours when it comes to relationships? 1 month ago:
Reasons for patterns like this are most often to be found in childhood. You probably were hurt by someone you yearned to be connected with, and now you are repeating or replaying that shit in a vain attempt to get over it (this sounds weird but it makes sense when you see it as “taking the stronger role” to not be the weak part of the relationship).
Good therapy (there’s bad therapy as well unfortunately) can help.

That was… interesting. My guess is those orcs couldn’t grasp the efficiency of modern surveillance and warfare and thought that their constant losses only could be attributed to an old fashioned spy in their company.
They don’t know and are not informed that their fellow orcs are being slaughtered by the thousands every day everywhere on the front.

Maybe blood vessels that are part of the clitoris? Clitoris is not just one little knob on the vulva but a rather pronounced organ that has erections in tissue that stretches deeper into the pelvis, very alike the male erective tissues (clitoris and penis have a lot in common and evolve from the same cell cluster in embryo).
- Comment on Histories Mysteries 2 months ago:
Is the vulva depicted that inaccurate? I’ve seen a fair share of vulva in my life, and they come in a lot of different versions, from very thin and tight lips to a more loose and wide combination of skin folds. The artist may simply have seen or used a model that had a tight vulva with a rather pronounced pubic mound. And the vagina is a sort of “tunnel” (probably not that rigid and straight as shown here) so if you isolated vulva and vagina from the surrounding tissue this drawing may be a rather good approximation of reality, especially when seen in its historical context.
(I can’t say much about the other body parts in this pic as I only approached vulva and vagina and maybe got in touch with a cervix from time to time.)

Yep, you’re right, that’s what’s meant here.

No. Your response to such childhood is very individual. It’s a very common stance to live your life the opposite way of your parents lifestyle. That’s what produced the 1960s air of change in culture - hippies lived the very opposite of their parents ideals.
I simply point out well researched patterns in childhoods and their influence on character traits. Look up developmental psychology and transgenerational patterns. In Germany there’s a lot of research and publication about “war children” and “war grandchildren” (Kriegskinder und Kriegsenkel) which in general attributes a lot of the countries troubles and shortcomings to the upbringing of kids in a war and post war society with a lot of shame and guilt.

Fear is a general human trait woven into our existences and should/could be reduced in a loving and supporting childhood. If love and support are missing in your childhood you don’t learn to handle your fears in a mature and stable way.
(I know I’m painting this picture with a very broad brush. It’s to point in the general direction of feelings as the most plausible and applicable answer to OPs question.)

Emotions are stronger then intellect, much stronger. And most of these people suffered in bad childhoods and were drilled or neglected into disempathy. (That’s not the necessary reaction to such childhoods but it’s a common reaction.)

If you put pressure on the garlic before peeling then the dry skin will fall off, and the remaining peeling will be very easy. I achieve that by rolling the garlic cloves several times on a hard surface under hard pressure from my hands. Another method with nearly similar results is putting the garlic cloves in a container (empty marmalade jar) and shaking that container vigorously. I prefer the rolling as it works faster and more reliable.
