Maybe he's born with it.
Maybe it's poverty.
Mine is depression. When you have food at home but the idea of getting up to even grab food out of the fridge is too much.
get a beer hat but put soup in there
I lost a fair bit of weight recently, and whenever anyone complements me on it and asks how I did it, I have to resist the urge to say “cancer” just to see the look on their face.
Man you look so healthy as of late, how do you do it?
Cocaine.

Lol no one in here on Lemmy knows what poverty even is. Most of you are richer than 97% of the whole freaking planet
Motherfucker, no one here earns 3 or less USD per month.
Nor do they have to go into a kilometers long line after toiling from work, just to get the lowest quality possible rations of food, water or gas, and not even knowing if you will get your allotted size/amount portion.
Hell I don’t even think any of you can even conceive what is like to be without power (or sugar!) for months on end.
Remote work? Fuck off
Heating and cooling? Give me a fucking break
Coffee? Kindly sod off
Healthcare? How cute
No, your diet is not poverty, its a full on mental disorder.
So Soviet Russia.
Venezuela, Uyghur camps in China, Cobalt mines in Africa, take your pick

Poverty more pushes you towards buying cheaper food that’s often unhealthier. Of course worse poverty pushes towards buying less food

this is mostly just true in america, in europe at least cheap food is healthier, because the cheapest things are stuff like potato and onions.

Not true in Finland. High calorie is cheapest.
